Awesome studio build mate! Iam doing the same thing atm, home Art studio / Tattoo studio, Iam just in the process of getting all the editing done on my progress so far, as you, would know that’s a big job in its self !
I ran everything to an rv male end that runs to the outside. I plug an extension cord into it when I'm using it. I didnt want to run permanent power incase I move the shed. Thank you for watching.
This is just my art studio and occasional tattoo spot on family and friends. This would never pass for a business license. No bathroom or running water plus a lot more. I use disposable equipment and would not recommend doing this for a public business. Tattoo shops undergo many inspections depending on where you live. This would not fly for a health inspection. This is my RU-vid studio above all. You can tattoo in a phone booth technically but as far as running a legit business, you'd need to look into your local codes.
Absolutely. It's 10'x14'. You could go 8'x10' and still have plenty of room. If you want to move it around, I'd build it on a trailer. Thanks for checking this out.
Did you have to get the inspector to come and inspect your building? My grandaughter's boyfriend is a license tattoo artist. He does his out of his home and I don't care for tattoos myself but he is really good at it. He needs to see your video.
I dont use this as a business or it would never pass inspection. No bathroom, sink, handicap entrance or parking. Its basically an art studio for me to draw and paint. If my wife or family member would want a tattoo then I'd consider it but I'd never use it as a money making business. I needed a quiet place to be creative outside of my personal home and this saves me from paying outrageous rent for an art studio that I'd only use once a week. I used to work at a tattoo shop professionally and I gave it up for Woodworking. Thank you for watching.
@@undergroundcreations417 I've worked out of a place kinda like this. me and a guy set up. We actually put a sink in it. Worked fine. End up losing the building due to his family problems cuz it was on his property which really put me in a bind. I've been thinking about setting up another one. We had ac units n all as well. Nice dam building tho brotha. That's kool as shit. Nothing wrong with it if u are a experienced tattoo artist. Either. Haters gonna hate regardless. I've too almost gave up on tattooing. Theres way too many people in the "business" now days. Kool lil badass shop tho man. Definitely
@@undergroundcreations417 do you have to have a loo? Cant they use the one in house or a portaloo? I think each council is different..are you in UK though?
It completely depends on the state that you live in or country. It would have to pass certain health and safety codes and require handicap access I believe. I'm not a business owner and my studio doesn't get used for tattoos regularly but I'd look into your local codes and laws on tattooing.
Unless you are able to have 2 rooms for both procedure and decontamination, a sink in both of those rooms, one way work flow, and an entrance that doesn’t run through your house, yes. I’ve seen it done, but it’s not an easy slice
Could technically be licensed as a tattoo shop with two small adjustments. As long as there is 100 sq ft of tattooing space a sink and only the artist and client in the tattoo area at a time.
