Just a tip. Take pictures of your walls without dry wall on. It will be so helpful in the future to see where the studs are.

Honestly, when or if I ever get to be a parent - I'd be so fucking overjoyed and just feeling all the emotions of a proud parent. Seeing your child being able to do anything equivalent to Macenna is just insane. And the attitude she brings on to the project makes it so much more rewarding to watch he achieve her dream. OMG i have no words! I found your youtube at the start of lockdown here in Australia last year because of your macrame pillow tutorial and i instantly loved you and your videos. Your style and the fact that you got into more hands on wood diy's is so up my street and now your house renovations, i couldn't think of any range of videos id rather watch and you do it all!!! Im still in school (in Australia its the final year= year 12) and every Monday i just think about coming home, getting comfy and watching your videos, its one of the highlights of my week. This renovating our 110-year old cottage series has to be the best series on youtube EVER! You are my favourite youtuber and this video is the exact reason why!! My suggestion for the pantry is to have it wired so that when you open/close the door the light automatically comes on/off. Most times when you enter and exit a pantry your hands are full. The automatic light is a Great help.

MACENNA!!! This is huge! I’m obsessed with watching this transformation, but seeing you tackle this project is so inspiring. I can’t echo enough how valuable it is to empower people (everyone) to make changes, work hard, grow, and see your effort come to life. You are such a role model for young women to take ownership of their gifts and get to work! It’s daunting to pursue work like building or engineering (I saw that AutoCAD, nerd :)) for professional or personal because we are smaller and it makes things like, framing and lifting walls, challenging, but we can so do it! You have such a unique blend of your mom and dad in you and it’s awesome. I actually teared up when you put that first wall up, that has more meaning than meets the eye. You’ve clearly worked SO hard, and it’s gotten you all the way here. Holy cow. You’re doin it.

I am in the middle of a remodel for a building that is 128 years old and your excitement for life and designing and the interactions between you and your mom are everything thank you so much for making this content! And showing us … girl power and that if there is a will there is a way and there’s so much beauty in restoring what once was! Thank you so much!
