Its litterally the first time someone explained precisely why and how we can built the second step higher so we can meet the top of the stairs. Well done !! Continue to explain all this kind of details, it makes a huge difference. thanks

Thank you! You will want to add geogrid to them if you are building them independently of one another

It’s on all of my projects. I also have a jumping jack. And on patios and driveways I rent a large reversible.

Why not open graded material? Aren’t u concerned about washout from the crusher run?

Not worried so much here with this wall product. Could have gone with open graded, but another wall we were doing on this job could not be open graded so we just stuck with the same material. Also some guys do not like using open graded along a foundation.

I think these blocks are about $25 per face foot. I don’t reveal our client’s project costs unfortunately.

I see a lot of guys building pavers that are completely level with the retaining walls. How do you account for drainage (sloped pavers) in these situations? I see the question asked all the time but never answered.

Couple ways you can go about it. One is to slope the pavers enough to get the water to flow over the wall. Other way is to use permeable pavers and open graded base with proper drainage. We are doing the first one for this project.

Sorry but those little blocks look crappy why not use corners on the long and small pieces closer to the house foundation wall.. ????

I think I know what you are referring to, but unfortunately no matter what there is going to be those pieces in order to get the stagger.
