For our next home improvement project, we’re back on Thumb Bucket trail! After the wallride, we needed a way to get around some big trees, so we built a mountain bike bridge. Also in this video, rock work, singletrack, and some action!

I just want to point out that Joe's manual out of the wallride was low key nuts. Shifting your weight and manualing out of a transition like that is super awkward. 10/10

Hi Setth. Short question. So from a nearly vertical wall ride, it transitions into a completly flat bridge. Why wouldn't the bridge have at least a little bit of angle? It would still be 'easy' but be a lot safer. Probably you wouldn't crash if it was angled. Anyways. What do I know.... Great video and great work!

Just an idea… maybe if you made a wall/bank of 30 degree angle or something towards the right side of the bridge where you turn to bank yourself a bit so your bike would be able to sit more perpendicular to the bridge surface decreasing the risk of sliding out. It could sit far to the right so it is optional but can be used to carry speed more safely. Could be a simple solution but it is just an idea. Great video Seth 🤟

Hey Seth, what about making a small berm on the bridge out of the little pieces of scrap wood you have left? Just angle em up at like a 50-60 degree angle along the riders right of the bridge. You would be able to get your tires in there and use it as a rut to complete that sketchy turn on the bridge at higher speeds.
