Well let me tell you girl this is not my first time watching this video, but is this the first time that I thought when you were using your green sander that you were ironing your wood! 🤣🤣🤣💜💜
Have tape measure will travel. 😂😂 ok The with of the shelves are 7.5” the length is 28” the height between the two is 8” and the height on the top is 4”. But those measurements are going to vary somewhat to reach individual Van and personal preference. Oh and the distance between the “brackets” bottom 23” top 20.5”
I just got a van to go travel in to. So it’s fun watching what you are doing. It gives me great ideas and if you can do it so can I. You encourage me on ward. 😁
I’m over 4000. I’ve got my community tab. Frankly, I’m stunned. I prayed for this and within a week of praying I gained over 350 new friends and it’s just kept growing rapidly. I think the shelves are really cute. Thank you Sue. Hope your mom is recovering well. ❤️💕
These are great! I have been contemplating shelves, and now I see a way. You have inspired me with your videos, I'm going to buy tools and start building. Thanks for sharing your van build.
Nice job! Its great how you showed the different steps. I only have a shelf on one side, I might do a second like yours. What are your thoughts about replacing the cloth shoe racks for storage? Mine are starting to look ragged.
In the shoe rack; I’m not sure what I would use. If mine became ragged, I think I would get more. They’re so soft and pliable. I can’t come up with a better option.
Hey, thanks for the great video! Are they secured just with the bungee cord, or did you put something underneath the bottom shelf into the cup holder? Great idea - thanks for sharing!
How did these work when you drive? Are things moving around, are the shelves staying in place? When I have used bungee cords to hold things in place, I’ve not had good luck. Did you in any way attach anything to the cupholders?
Thank you for the question. I use sticky pads underneath the shelves and the bungees. I also put gripping shelf liner on the shelves to hold items still. They have never moved even when I’ve had to hit the brakes. You can take a piece of wood and glue it underneath that will fit in the cup holder for added security as well.
@@TheHapiCamper Thank you so much. What are sticky pads? Is that like a double sided tape? Or is it like the gripper material you put on top of the shelves?
sorry for so long in getting back to you. Sticky pads are 1/4 " thick mushy pad that has a lot of stick power on both sides. You can get them wet and wash them. Amazon sells them. www.amazon.com/dp/B07PFW5SXB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_7PNNSZK1VW8PV4B8FPK0
