@@rachelshepherd8099 Rachel love building stacked stone walls the walls that terrace the property are cemented in place . The smaller walls around the property are dry stacked. It’s fun scavenging for the rock and building. Do you have stone retaining walls?

Looks great, I’d chop or saw out that tree root in the ground there, would definitely make a difference 😊

@@Cynthia-zz1vi good morning Cynthia my fear it would stress this old tree even more. I know Ill loose this tree prolly in my life time but would removing the root put much stress on this tree . Help please if you’ve more info. Ive a tree guy coming next week he’s done all the branch removal on this old tree I will consult with him too. I love my willow its the big reason we chose this property 32 years ago I imagined this garden with it as its focal point. Time flys. Where do you garden and how much ground do you get to dress up with your vision?

Hi Great idea for the wall. I love it. About the root I'm not sure. I would be inclined to cut it for safety's sake. Surely that one root would not kill the willow? It might send out smaller roots which could improve the strength of the tree in the long run💞🌟👏

@@77sun222 Sharon that root probably would not harm the tree. Never thought bought new roots forming. I’ve our tree guy coming next week I’ll get his opinion he’s the company that has removed large branches from this tree a couple times. I needed opinions on this I don’t have but a few trees and this one is getting older like lol.
