Want to master texturing in Substance Painter? Join here: bit.ly/31QPGlq Hey guys! I'm so glad people are enjoying my latest Ghibli tutorial, super cool to see how many people are joining the course and making amazing art. If you want to learn this art style, as well as a ton of other great tutorials, consider joining the 3D Coloring Book. I add new tutorials and goodies every month! Not only that, I've reduced the price from $140 all the way down to $49 for a limited time. See you in there! Massive thanks to Carlos for this video as well, definitely one of my favorites in a LONG time. There is a ton of really great information in here, so make sure to watch the whole thing.

Your work is really great and I appreciate the video. You clearly have a strong artistic eye, but it is sometimes hard to follow in this breakdown. There are many points where what you say boils down to "you want your [x] to be good". This happens when you talk about lights and color harmony, you talk about how they are important and useful, but little about how you decide when you've tuned them "right". It would be helpful insight if you were to describe how you gauge what you feel is "good" artistically. For instance, the way you talk about contrast and fore/mid/background is great because you point out what you were looking at and how you were evaluating them while tuning those elements. The video is still a great resource and even just seeing the scene in the editor is informative. I just wanted to offer that feedback for any future videos. Thanks!
HOW DID I MISS THAT. I've watched this through like 3 times. Thanks for letting me know! Fixed it in the YT editor, changes should go live in a bit! Thanks for pointing that out lol
Man, I need a tutorial of this, not exactly this, but this video is just scracthing the surface and it's still amazing. A tutorial, or course, where he goes over everything step by step hahhaa
thanks for the vid, I love it. I think adding a cape to the character that's reacting to the wind slightly or maybe hair moving a bit would give the character a bit more... character? beautiful piece either way. thanks for sharing.
