Please dont change the music...please dont change anything about your videos. Your format is what keeps me coming back. I like your videos because: 1. The music is relaxing 2. Your intro isn't too long like alot of others 3. I can understand what you say because you dont have an accent thats hard to understand. 4 You clearly describe your steps. Please keep up the great work.
Just a couple of points Andy, 1) there is nothing wrong with classical music, and in fact much of it is peaceful and allows you to concentrate on the smallest bits and PE. 2) I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos. Your passion and just plain enjoyment of building comes through and is an inspiration to me. Some of the other model building channels come across more like a class. Very informative and highly detailed, but some of their equipment is just out of reach for me. 3) I applaud your keeping in the few little errors you make, as I have done this as well and I feel much better about that, because of your attitude. Anyways, happy modeling
The classical music is part of your channels identity. It is much better than the half a dozen royalty free tracks that are on everyone elses videos. Hobby Headquaters + classical music is a winning combination.
I LOVE classical music!! Even though I'm heavily into rock, classical is very artistic and calming, which goes well when working on art projects. Don't change it!
Although this is an older video. I’m trying to do a Afrika Korps scene with a Opel blitz. It’s really comical all the other video presentations I watch from other builders just hold a candle to yours. The smoothness, presentation and the out right excellence of the builds are second to none!! I’m like why bother with anyone else. Thanks a ton.
The classics are a great idea , Keep em coming , Your verbal detailed teaching method is a big plus in your step by step builds Andy / Key reason why I subscribed .
James/Andy, I have watched entranced for several weeks now your superb model making. I am now compelled to resume my model making after a 30 year absence. I shall never aspire to be as good as you but thank you for the inspiration
Just caught this video, excellent build and nice kit (despite it being a bit 'fiddly'). As always, Andy makes it look easy and gets you in the mood to build. Great job 👍
The Classical Music is a good choice, it relaxes the viewer and mind. i dont really like channels with fastpaced or dubstep stuff. the Music fits , it doesn't distract from the Model or what you say, nice videos, keep it up!
Andy, love the classic music mate.. easy on the ear's. I love the way you take the painting back to basics, would have liked to see a pin wash and pigments used, I like the way your desert pigments came out on the IDF builds. still a good vid. cheers
Hi Andy, You have completed another great build, with regards to your music I'm not a classical music fan but enjoy it in the background of your videos. Les
I like the classical music too (Ive said before), but not to everyones taste. Anyways.....what a great build. I must admit, when you scraped off some of the paint after hairsraying, I thought it looked a bit stark, but once the buff was sprayed on, it looked tremendous. Same as the drybrushing on the hood.....I thought WHOOPS, a little too much paint, but a little buff sure toned it down. Another classic video. Simple yet effective.
Andy Alex you're not sure how long ago you built that Troop Carrier with a flag on it but I absolutely loved watching you and enjoyed watching you do that video and in that build that's the exact build I'm looking forward to do I'm actually looking for a truck to do at this present time
Awesome looking kit. It is really a shame they didn't hinge or make the cowling removable to show that beautifully detailed engine. Btw this just reminds me of Indiana Jones and the Truck fight scene! How much is this kit? Also a helpful tip... maybe put the paints and stuff used in the description section. That way if someone misses it they dont have to go back and search for the exact time in the vid it was mentioned..just a suggestion.
Dont change anything, you cant make everyone happy, many people many tastes, use what u wanna use, do what YOU wanna do. We subscribed bc of wat you already were doing, so im sure they secretly love it as well, otherwise they wouldn't watch it or be a sub right? Lol Great job
Hi Andy, i really like your weathering tecniques. With this build you didnt show the cab interior or the underside of the chassis. Any particular ideas can you suggest ? oil stains etc,..Otherwise keep up the good work. Peter.
I also love building models like you, but in my younger years I don't have the dough and made all my models out of folder boards. My first interest was WW2 Ships and in my middle years when I can afford it, I'm more into WW2 figures, like German Infantry, US, GIs and some Russian Special Forces. But sadly when I got separated with my wife, my collection were all got MIA! LoL!
The classical is perfect, Andy. Kicking back after work, smoking my pipe alongside a hot cup of coffee watching one of your videos. Truely relaxing. Now, how about the 1/32 mosquito? Any chance of seeing that build? Greetings from Singapore.
I love how you paint on top of the model box instead of one of those trendy and expensive model holder base things. Works for me too. Would like to know what Tamiya Flat Clear you used. I found some people complained about X-21 not being completely clear.
really good build, man everyone has got to love your job, or at least I do, wow work in a hobby shop, or own it? and you get to build kits awesome, (lucky) again cool build.
2:20 you have mounted correctly first chassis then engine, but at this point you should have painted separately frame. engine, water cooler before assembling them.
Awesome build & weathering! Is the music your way of hinting that, with such a large number of tiny parts, it will be a Straussful build, with 3/4 of our time spent on clean-up of parts? ;) Definitely not a kit for da noob, right? ;)
Classical music is where it's at. Keep it coming. (Just a quick note though. Even if a piece of old classical music is in the public domain, that doesn't mean that the performance (and the recording) of the same piece of music is also in the public domain. If you record a performance of public domain classical music, you are entitled to the copyright of that performance.)
Andy, what is the right price for this kit? I am a beginner and don't want to spend more than I should for the kit. Also is it possible to buy Afrika Corps decals for the Opel Blitz in 1/35 scale? Thanks
I am learning so much from your videos! I have bought the cheap testors airbrushes I say brushes cause I bought two and they didn't work! What airbrush do you use? Can you recommend a good cheaper one? Thanks
I think the classical background music is nice but if you want to change it up Kevin MacLeod has a huge collection of royalty free music on his website
+Diesel Robot Its funny I have tried , I pulled different music right off of youtube 's list and it was stilled flagged , so I have been reusing because i know it doesn't effect there detection software. I will try and find somemore soon. Thank's for watching
