I built this exact build minus the case and brands but the XFX MERC 7800 XT is massive and I love it. Paired with the R5 7600 just the overall best combo bang for buck, I stream, play VR, edit videos and game pretty intensely This channel helped me with my first build 3 years ago. Came from the RX 570 (4gb Vram) and an i3 10100F and still loved it, it ran amazing and I wish It just had more Vram so I could still use it for a flip but its still serving me till this day!
A good deal indeed. I'd take the GPU out and switch it to the 4070 super or 7800 xt. Its on the R5 7000 series so thats all good and the ram is fine but 32 is cheep and common for most. thats a nice deal in all honesty, upgradable and all.
It's a nice looking computer with decent performance and a solid build overall. Perfect is subjective. AIO coolers are more prone to failure vs air cooling. Using the cheapest ones you can find? Plus, the CPU draws less than 100 watts which doesn't require water cooling. Installing games on the D-drive and only the operating system on the C-drive is better. $20 to $25 will get you a 4th gen 256GB nvme.2 for the C-drive. 1TB of storage for gaming doesn't accommodate many AAA titles. The GPU falls on its face with Ray Tracing enabled. Theres room for improvement.
Like, concerningly inexpensive. But the reviews seems to say they work, run cool, and not a ton of DOAs. Thermalright just seems to pass on low costs direct to consumer. I hope they aren't overworking a bunch of slave labor or something.
@@douglasmurphy3266 i don't think they use slave labor ,most of the time the cheap chinese companies that's change their name every week use slave labor so i think thermalright don't use slavery because they want to save the brand .idk but i hope no slavery is involved in their products.
@@kaku_kiji5115 slavery? what kind of world you live in..more like thermalright selling it with little to no profit to get people buy them use them and come back buy it again other company just priced it double and easy profit, these things are mass produce the cost is low by now
@eviction699 it wasn't exactly budget when I built it. Am5 was still new and it was before the 7800x3d which I would've got if it was available. 6800xt seemed like the sweet spot for me for 1440p that's why I didn't go with the 6950xt or 7900xtx
@@LetThemIn ah ok. The 7800X3D is great, I have one paired with a 4090. My 6800, 7600 build was $800 using these used parts I hunted down: Gigabyte 6800 GAMING OC 16GB Ryzen 5 7600 Noctua NH-L12S MSI 650i MPG Edge WIFI 32GB DDR5 6000 Crucial Pro RAM 2TB Samsung 980 Pro PCIe4x4 NVME 850W 80+ Gold CoolerMaster V850 Fractal Ridge SFF Case
@@LetThemIn There’s some crazy deals that pop up on FB marketplace, I search every week now that I’m addicted to building tiny ITX computers. Even got my Odyssey G5 UW monitor used for $200.
I built two very similar gaming PCs recently. Only real performance difference was I went 7600x paired with the 7800xt instead. Still crushes most games in 1440p. Remnant 2 is the only game I have that pushes the machine.
I built my friend a Ryzen 9 7900X3D with XFX 7800XT and 32 Gigs of 5000 mhz Ram. Even added 850W power supply for better upgrade path. He loves it, works fantastic. :)
I have a thermalright 360 and a 280. THe THermalright 360 cooled my Ryzen 5900X better than the EK cooler I had for a year and now cools my 12700K without any issues. THe 280 is now on the 5900x and cools it without any sort of issue. My 12700K under load runs about 69C.....It is in a Lian Li216 + the 360 amd added 2 fans from the bottom with a 3 fan 7900GRE.....so it is a good cooling situation but I am impressed in value for money and have no concerns at this point purchasing their products
Built a 7600x/7900 GRE combo with my Son for $1250, to stay in our price point we didn't go with Liquid AIO. CPU: 7600X GPU: Sapphire Pulse 7900 GRE Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650-E WIFIRAM: 32 GB Team T-force DDR5 6400 SSD: Team Group G50 1TB Cooler: Freezer 36 A-RGB Case: Montech Sky Two PS: Thermaltake GF1 ATX 850W I think we built a solid Gaming PC with upgrade paths when he chooses to invest additional funds.
Please don't sacrifice the performance for this case. You can easily find a similar case for cheaper. I can do the research for you if you want. I just don't want to see you waste money on something that should have been better
I have the thermalright frozen edge 360 aio on my 7900x3d and it keeps my cpu nice and cool. And i only paid 57 bucks for it. In cinebench keeps my cpu around 83c and in gaming stays in the 50's hitting 60c occasionally
Saw matt yesterday for a second wish i said hi but was afraid to lol. Drove 10hrs to go there would have been 8 hours all together if there wasnt so much slow down traffic ride home is 8 hours as well.
Hi. I have a computer with the AsRock z590-C/ac. Currently I am running an Intel Core i5-11600K. Would you recommend upgrading to the Intel Core i7-10700K or Intel Core i9-11900K? Would I see a significant upgrade in PC gaming that equates to the costs of those CPUs?
Why do yall continue using GPUs, and not full utilizing them. there is no reason to use fsr (balanced) with a 7800xt on warzone. When gigabyte sends you a GPU, i'm pretty sure they would want you guys to show it's full potential.
@@1BadVan There are numerous videos of this combination on You Tube and also one where the same gpu is combined with an i7 13700k in a comparison video and the same set up as mine shows only 2fps lower at 4k . The i7 9700k was one of the golden age of intel cpu's .....
@@s8hz I've been building my own and friends PC's since the days of 486 cpu's ( the glory days of 3d accelerator cards playing Doom ) ....... I'm 68 years old by the way ........
@@PhilipKerry I’ve yet to find a single video or benchmark that supports this. Since you have the system and clearly know how to screen record, post a video with some benchmarks. Start with time spy for a direct comparison. Then load up some Fortnite and warzone. All free games, they even show you the settings they ran with. Until then, talking out your ass
I just built my own pc and I have a 7800xt merc with at 7700x my cpu is constantly running at 80c and I get constant frame drops and I’ve done everything and I still don’t know what to do
My comment on y'all's last video got deleted and I have no idea why 😭 was it cause I posted a link to the PC I was talking abt or something- sorry for any confusion lol. Love ur content.
the stock cooler is way enough for that ryzen 5 7600. Buying an AIO is completly overkill and money waste. Rather get a ryzen 7 7700 instead of the AIO.
I have this case and its the worst decision i ever made cable management sucks i wanted to add extensions to my 7900 xtx and its impossible to route cables on this case
Hello, toasty bros, I have been planning for my pc Build from 2 months now it is going to be my first PC built so I would want to build a 1440P gaming pc. I have a budget of around a $1000. But I can plan on moving it up for buying a better GPU buy a little 150 or $200. I wanna play games like valorant Cs2 PUBG pc, I'm more into fps shooters than AAA titles, but still I want to keep it so that I can play GTA6 Later on and without upgrading. I am planning to buy a ryzen 5 7600 X with 32 gigs of ddR5. Memory 1 Tb Nvme storage And The only thing is what should I do about the GPU, should I go for 7800 XT or 7900 GRE or 7700 XT because 6800 is costly in my country, so for this build and the specifications. What should you suggest because I'm a little low on budget? And for fps, shooters, what is the best thing? Cause I would like to get high frames in 1440P. Medium settings.
Hi as my mobo has no argb header, if i leave the fans ans pump argb unplugged, will i be able to run them with no lighting, or will they default to rainbow puke?
@dingleberries360 it's sad to know that the definition of "perfect" is balancing aRGB vs. performance. That case is about $130. Like what? I hate to be that one guy, but if you're going to label it as "perfect", you should still balance the cost of other components all the while keeping the aesthetics. It just seemed lazy on the research and a poor soul might actually follow a similar path
$1,250 is still too much, but then again, my PC would have been around $1,100 if I weren't able to trade my gaming laptop for a 4070 by chance, because that GPU is somewhere between $500-$600 on Amazon.
@@JJFlores197 well I found a good pc for on 150 bucks I was going to just stick a graphics in it but even if I didn’t want to there’s a bunch of build guides on this channel for a little over 200 bucks
@@DiyintheGhetto I’m not sure but I think it was Lian Li that first invented them. They did it in response to people not liking to turn the fans around and show the cross guard rear hiding a lot of the RGB. I could be wrong but pretty sure it was Lian Li that invented them.
Hmmm A person can go online right now and get a prebuilt from a reputable company that has a 4070 super and a risen 7700 for About that same price. The 7800xt is admittedly better than the 4070 super but the 7700 is better than than the 7600.The prebuilt has 16 gb ram vs the 32 in your build. Still I don't see that as being a great difference as usually its easy to replace the ram in most pcs. So a person could upgrade the ram themselves making things closer. So imo assuming the prebuilt company doesn't drop the ball that 's a pretty close to your build your own system without the hassle of doing it yourself. I won't mention the sellers name but it is a well known seller well regarded in the industry and the parts are new not refurbished to the best of my knowledge. Why the prebuilt is being sold so low I am mystified as we have always heard its much cheaper to build your own but it is getting to the point that is not longer the case. That is a very good pc you guys built and I admire your skill I don't have the skill to build my own pc nor do I have the knowledge or temperament. Good job guys.
I have to decide between building this PC or paying an exterminator to get rid of bed bugs. 😂 I got quoted $1,300 by one company to get rid of those critters. Does it really cost $1,000 to get rid of bed bugs?
