On this episode I'm gearing up for the upcoming Total Archery Challenge shoot at KIllington/Pico in Vermont this year. I'm shooting 2 days so I want some arrows that will last. so there is a little arrow building and a little shooting with some old arrows MANY more videos to come on this topic so please like and subscribe!

You should spin the arrows and turn the insert to make sure they spin true as possible before the epoxy sets

I actually did that with the other arrows and forgot to record it for this one, also forgot the tip and tailing with glue… did that on the others as well. I need to start scripting my videos haha

That 4 fletch is 🔥🔥🔥 I just put some max stealths on my wife’s GT Hunter arrows them things fly good!

I've been using Easton axis long-range and these for the past few years. The rip tkos are much more durable. If you hit anything with the Easton .166, they explode.

Yeah I put those through the paces at total archery challenge and I was pleased

Your point of impact being different with the rip tkos is that they are smaller diameter so you’ll want to bump your rest up a touch to get back centered on the berger hole

Shoot them into a block target. Then spin your arrows and see how they all wobble. I stopped using RIP or all small D. arrows because of this issue. Now I save money and shoot standard with upgraded inserts.

I can do an aftermath video on them, once TAC is done they will have over 3 months of target shooting, probably some of them will hit the dirt I’m sure. See how they really hold up
