Awesome patch mate, it sounds really solid and perfect for any tone! Its great for my Acacia Atlas bass and gives a great metal/clean tones well done and subbed!
Hi, Thanks for the great video. I'm tweeking the compressor on this thing for a while now. I own an 89' Fender P-bass. I was close enough to reach the perfect compression, but it just wasn't there. I always lost some dinamics. Not much, maybe not even noticeable, but it was bothering me. From your video I learned a lot. I tried to mimic the separate compression phases, and it's just there! I could simply download the preset, but to do it on my own, made me learn some things, that I tought that I already know.. I was wrong. I just changed some little things: I added a Woody blue preamp- gently tweaked to push some more bass from the passive electronics P. I changed one of the volume expression pedals to do the bass whammy with an octave down- and maaan, it works so well with these compression stages. I can do some nasty bass drops now. Great video ... I like the way you use the 3 band comp to mimic a kind of crossover. I'm no to the Line 6 Helix and I have to impression I have to approach this in a different way when using analogue pedals, right ?
Hey thanks! Yeah, the 3-band is currently the only way to get a lo-pas filter as low as I needed it. The helix can be used in a variety of ways. You can easily use it like how you use pedals, I just happen to use it a bit more like how I use plug-ins in a daw.
