In this video I run through the features of the SpeedHut gauges for old cars and show how I integrate them into an LH/LX Torana dash, mimicking the look of the desirable "SLR" Sport Dash, but with modern back-lit gauges that are accurate, reliable, and full of features (trip meter, settable warning lights, tach input options) that old gauges don't provide.

Was just me but did i hear you bagging out standard S cluster for having idiot lights then expouse the merits of having idiot lights in new cluster as you didn't want to be trying to look at guage reading 😂😂😂 but great upgrade you've created !

big problem with the Speedo being GPS is that it is illegal in NSW at least to have... and engineers wont pass them - not sure if the one you run does it but a lot of them at key on has "acquiring satellites" ... so they see that and instant fail.... have had many customers had to fit a normal cluster back in to get their car registered ... otherwise they are a great looking thing

Excellent video. I want to put in 3 Smiths gauges in where the ashtray used to sit. I have the gauges, but w/o the wiring looms. We need to do a little cutting, but can’t find anyone to do the job. The search goes on.

Hi Heath....I have an LX four door currently in for paint. I'm now thinking about the interior and love what you've done. There is plenty for tartan around but all large squares, unlike yours which I really like. Where our will do you get the tartan from...? Any help would be appreciated.
