Hunting opportunity is often measured by the amount of time one is able to spend in the woods. Whether those hours accumulate from the comfort - or lack thereof - of a ground blind, hanger, climber, ladder stand, or simply while seated atop a stump, second only to other obligations, it's often the weather that limits time afield. So, in an effort to keep our guys in the woods more and able to fully enjoy the sport, we've embarked on a couple of projects lately to ensure exactly that! Join us in this new series as we attempt to build ~ the ultimate tree stand.

Rifle season 2020 will be here in a flash and we're looking forward to bringing the next installment in that series to the channel as well. Might have a few tricks & treats in store for that episode...

That's an awesome stand fellas. Nice job on paying attention to detail. Hunting is a family tradition from hanging stands and checking trailcams to skinning and butchering your harvest. Can't wait to see what monsters you shoot out of it. Good luck this season and god bless.

Very nice hunting condo, not sure if I'm more envious or jealous lol. Great group/family fun too. It is true the more comfortable you are the longer you'll stay in the stand. Thanks for sharing.

I know you 2 are brothers but what are the relationship of the other people, are the husband and wife helping with the build your parents? the other 2 gentleman that are at deer camp with you? uncles?

Since you went that much trouble, I would have heavily insulated the entire structure then covered the interior walls and ceiling with pegboard sheathing to keep the hollow sound to a minimum and would also use far less fuel of choice used to heat it.

The window frames are cut down from 2x4's to be 1.75 x 1.5

We did draft a basic set of plans for material calculations, however it wasn’t saved. Best of luck if you’re starting a project.

Great job guys!! I'm guessing the steepness of the roof pitch is most appreciated by those who were hanging on for "deer" life while installing the sheathing and that slippery metal..been there done that... Congrats and love the patience and detail...Ill be looking for it on the air B & B web site ....wall to wall carpet to boot!! ...But in your next video if you start asking guest to remove their shoes, I may just have to unsubscibe! lol... Awesome job nice stand , only one thing there is no way that's a tree stand not attached to a tree, not built on a tree, so the only thing else it could be is a tower deer blind

We were able to get through 600 video clips and compile the footage that was ultimately going to be used in the annual rifle season video which is "in production" now. Look for it sometime this month Jeff.

Hi Mark, we're still working through the 600 video clips shot over the 2 week hunt now. Expect to see the 4th edition some time in January

The purpose of the build was primarily to ensure that the older generation could still get out and hunt. Over the years we’ve seen health problems and limited mobility cause them to leave hunting because they couldn’t access the woods. This stands was built with those hunters in mind.

@@NCPAOutdoors lol. Funny you mention it......im adding solar to mine next year. Lol. Not sure about a TV. But fans and phone charger for sure. Maybe a TV for College football. Lol
