I was raised in the suburbs, so I am a big fan of your channel. I appreciate that most of the animals have names. Boy -- you work HARD with food, water, bedding, etc., and I certainly appreciate the narration and explanations. Now, my mother was a wonderful gardener so I recognize and appreciate all of your gardening. It is good to see some of the same plants as we have here in North Carolina. Your video popped up as a suggestion for me, so I watched it. What a great operation you have there and it seems like you really enjoy it. When chickens dirt bathe like that it can sometimes indicate they are battling mites. If they are, you can help by adding Diatomaceous Earth to their dirt bathing spots as well as their nests and roosting area. I keep a bag of it in my coop to help my ladies out.

Just curious is echo the livestock guardian dog after you go in for the night or you don't have any issues with wild animals trying anything?

Echopup stays with me always. He's not a "livestock" dog hes a dog with livestock. The animals are closed up in buildings at night to keep them safe.

After watching the goats go.... I'm going vegan....i know you are good to your animals but i could never do that part of it... it would break my heart knowing what was coming for them... that must be very hard to do

I was vegan when I started homesteading. This way is better for everyone involved. It is sad and difficult at times but It's the way nature intended.
