I assembled one by myself a few weekends ago. Spent almost as much time peeling shrink wrap off of every panel as I did assembling. Not sure what you are calling.heavy Guage steel. I expect to be in the market for a new shed after the first hurricane it encounters if I dont reinforce the walls. My previous survived numerous until it rusted out.

I am about a third of the way through building a 8 x 10 shed. So far, taking the film off, has been about 2/3rds the effort. The instructions do not specify the minimum dimensions for a foundation. This could be a simple dimensioned insert added to box 1. Here in the US we once had a profession called drafting where job #1 was adding salient dimensions. Before I was an engineer and as an engineer I designed and dimensioned thousands of drawings. However, with the introduction of CAD during the '80 the art of drafting was lost when they just assumed engineers would do the design AND drafting (sell expensive CAD packages and lay off the drafters was the sales pitch). I suspect this is also the norm in China where customer documentation is just screenshots from the 3d assembly. In CAD geometry is perfect and the holes align perfectly. They use this data to make parts and to punch holes but if the assembly is built on a non level surface then there will be misaligned holes. There is a trick to large sheet metal assemblies: to not tighten the hardware, build on the flattest surface possible and then shake the assembly and then tighten all the screws. However, this assembly has over 500 screws and other fasteners you best results will come from a flat foundation.

Nice shed, we used to have two metal sheds in the back yard but over time strong winds ended up destroying them. I was thinking of building a wood one or vinyl one, but saw reviews on these. Hope they withstand some strong winds and I’ll consider these. Also wondering if ok to attach solar panels to the roof, I’m thinking of getting a power bank to setup inside recharged by solar and use to recharge all my tool batteries.

We'll be coming out with an exclusive new plastic tool shed next month and will have a great discount as a pre-sale, so you may pay attention to that~!

Did mine yesterday and today. He is right , it’s short on the back. Went and got flashing for the back so no water should come inside. And oh my god . The hardware can be a bit tedious.

For the base, are the measurements edge-to-edge or center-to-center?

We get 70 mph gusts here in winter, not sure if the shed can stand mountain weather. The winds tore the galvanized roof off my barn.

Our products have been tested in strong winds and have performed well☺

Don’t do it bro. Just build yourself bc you will have to make your own framing anyway to support it.

Isn't that "plastic" the UV protection?

Can you tell me exactly what size flooring? And what did you use for the shed floor? Also what would you recommend if the ground is uneven
@patiowellus

120.8 inches X 180 inches is perfect, and both wood and concrete foundation materials are appropriate.
