I've said it before and I'll say it again, the power of paint is amazing! Sometimes that little corner in your home just needs a little refresh. In this video I am doing just that to a set of builtins I have in my upstairs foyer. I added some arches with 3/4" plywood and painted the insides a darker color. Along with some inexpensive picture lights from amazon it has a whole new look. It's amazing the difference the deeper color inside the shelving made to help blend all the various colors and patterns on the spines of my book collection. I no longer feel compelled to turn any of my books around to make the shelves more aesthetically pleasing. Thank you so much for watching and I hope this inspires you to make over a space in your home.
