I love the bookcases! The arch detail is perfect! 🙂 We used MDF to make faux columns (with lights) in our home theater. The added molding down the sides and bottom, crown molding on the top really makes them stand out. Because they are so smooth, they look like they are dry walled and built into the wall. Probably my favorite detail in our theater. Found the idea on a RU-vid video! 😂
Looking great, top tip I learned from another RU-vidr is to paint the component parts before assembly, so much easier, then you just need to touch up after.
Kelsey you have inspired me to take a woodworking class! I've always been very handy but I'm ready to see how far I can go with it because of you! Thank you! ❤❤
Love the arch book case! You do such a fabulous job. Definitely can not wait to see the end result! You amaze me every time. Is their anything you cannot do? 😝You have some mad skills. I know your family is very proud of you. Looking forward to yet another amazing video! 😊🎃🍁💛🧡
Love watching you transform your house so beautifully. You are a powerhouse! I look forward to watching your video each week. Just wish they were a bit longer...they end too soon. lol 😊💕
Nice job, but I don’t think you should have cut out the baseboards. Now, the bookshelves have to stay in that spot.the furniture can’t be moved around in the future.
I will be wrapping baseboards around the bottom of the bookshelves and don’t plan to move any furniture around. When we go to sell and the buyer wants them taken down, I can always add baseboards back.
A cabinet as tall as that would need to sit flush against the wall and be fixed into place….knowing Kelseys woodwork sills base boards will not be a problem if she moves them in the future 😉
