Lets test Zhens translation abilities with Russian. It's said that there are similarities between the Bulgarian and Russian language. Lets see how true that is!
Ну так болгарска девушка також практично все ухватывае, але, као руские говорят - слышит звон, но не поймет, где он. Вепреки тему, что руский и болгарский лексично е сильно подобны, за розной граматики можно ляко охиби'се в смысле фразы, даже ако болгарин але руский буде упороблять знаемы обоим речи.
Jeni you did a great job at understanding and translating the phrases. I always think when the phrases are spoken it’s harder to piece together what they said.
Congratulations ! Keep on building bridges of understanding and mindfulness of common heritage between people and nations ! I think however that the new generation of Bulgarians should be more familiar with the Russian language and the Interrelation of Russia and Bulgaria as states and cultures, which have been intriecately connected related right from the roots of both nations up to now. Then maybe we can build on more positively our relations now and in the future.
Thank you Oleta :-D We actually recorded a Macedonian video about an hour before you commented. Will be up when Phil edits. Maybe 2 weeks. Great idea on the Serbian too!
S obyćzajnymy, ale literaturnimy to mnogo teže, tam bolgary uporoblàjut mnogo vyśze južno-slavjanskoj i tùrskoj rećzy plus bolgarska gramatika dlà ruskux ćzesto silno konfuzna.
@@apcheto I understood "или можете и (да) использовать думать уроки" sounds gibberish but still understandable by the main idea. Probably wouldn't understand if it were used in speech...
It was very simply for a bulgarian to understand all that. She do not know anything, but it not means that the most bulgarians will not understand whar she do not understand.
Stop pretending. Most Bulgarians like to claim they know other Slavic languages, but these three videos (Russian, Serbian, Macedonian) demonstrate that a typical Bulgarian doesn't have the language abilities they claim to have.
@@billocoy9811 If I was there, I would have no problems to understand 100% from that or 100% from what is meaning. With a normal IQ will every Bulgarian understand, but this doof woman ohhhh shame. Polish, Czech, Slovenian is difficult to understand for the Bulgarians, but sorry Russian and Serbian is so simply. Macedonian is dialect from Bulgarian...
@@yogiaol Don't insult people you don't know by inferring that they have a less than normal IQ. By doing so you highlight your own backwardness. Don't be silly, Macedonian is a separate language. Its not a dialect of Bulgarian. It's like claiming that Dutch is a dialect of German.
@@billocoy9811 Stop with your typical western political correctness. Every linguist will tell you that Macedonian is not a separate language. Because only the Bulgarian language and Macedonian as its dialect differ from the other Slavic languages in that they have articles and haven´t grammatical cases. Al other slavic languages haven´t articles but they have grammatical cases. This shows that Macedonian is related to the Bulgarian language and is its dialect. The video shows a young woman she reacts hastily, claiming that she does not know, but in reality every Bulgarian, if he gives himself time, will understand perfectly. It is frustrating to see a distorted view of the ability of Bulgarians to understand Russian.
@@yogiaol I don't have 'western political correctness'. I suggest you stop parroting propaganda from Bulgaria's ultranationalist Communist dictator Todor Zhivkov. It may be kind of understandable why a dictator of a very poor and isolated country resorted to ultra-nationalism. However, now that the Bulgaria's Iron Wall has come down there is no need to resort to such stupidities. There are similarities between all languages belonging to the Slavic language group, the grammar between Macedonian and Bulgarian is more similar than Macedonian and Serbian for example. However that doesn't mean that Macedonian is a dialect of Bulgarian, or that Bulgarian is a dialect of Macedonian. The Macedonian language itself has various regional dialects. I suggest you grow up and don't make nonsensical comments insulting someone's IQ, claiming what all 'linguists will tell you', or claiming to know what all Bulgarians understand. You're just embarrassing yourself.
