Hi! I was just wondering if this was the unbranded mix print bale or the unsorted bale from syed vintage? Thanks xxx

We bought a bale from them recently and sent an email to complain of the quality of some and they offered us a voucher, might be worth adding it all up and seeing how many are ruined and emailing them xx

Looks like you bought an unsorted bale? Which is straight from Syed’s supplier, so it’s not been opened and sorted. I’ve just received the same sort of bale. Most was grade A, some B. Looks some good pulls from what you managed to show.

thank you!! this was my first time buying from a vintage wholesaler so I didn't know what to expect, but I've just watched some of your videos and they have been really helpful! I was just wondering how you go about prepping them for depop (as in washing/ ironing) as I've been struggling with that as they are so creased when they arrive that I have to wash them all and iron them all to make them look half decent?

@@IssieRachel A steamer will be your best friend; it’s so much quicker than ironing and gets every crease out of everything! They’re like £20/£25 on Amazon/Argos :)

@@mashupsbyliv6067 I've tried using a steamer before but it wouldn't get all the creases out :(

@@IssieRachel hey lovely! I got my first syed sweatshirt bale a few weeks ago! Unfortunately you will have to wash all the items as they don’t do that themselves (they come already packaged) and I iron all my sweatshirts, it will make your photos look a lot nicer to a buyer! Like Jamie said above you should expect around 40 percent to be a Chuck out but doesn’t matter as you can still make a profit! It works out on average £1-£2 per item taking into account the ones thrown out. I got about 80 sweaters out of it that were good but the rest I’ll still sell just cheaper! Obviously some are just not sellable. Regarding items with slight stains you could purchase some stain remover. I would recommend looking through your bale again as you will probably find you missed a few good items, ( I was disappointed at first but you realise there’s a lot more than you think!) don’t forget they will look way nicer when washed and ironed! Hope this helps 😊 xx

What do you expect for £70 odd, you ain’t getting 25kg of top branded for that price

I gave up a long time ago. 80% of bulk buys are rubbish and 80% of buyers are peasants trying to get things for nothing. Another problem is the site you choose to sell on can close your account leaving you with thousands of pounds worth of stock and no way to sell it. Ebay are known for this.
