Bulkhead Removal: Adapting to the Unexpected | Ford Transit Camper Van Conversion Series [ 2 ] 

Follow along as I self-build my own unique camper van inside a 2015 Ford Transit 350 Extended Cargo Van -- with no experience. ...and when I say "no experience," I mean ZERO EXPERIENCE! I have never done anything like this before, so I am learning as I go. I will make some mistakes, but that's okay.
In this video, I had planned to remove the plywood floors (that were already made my the previous owner -- THANK YOU!!) so that I could clean underneath and plan out my subfloor frame.
However, after taking them out, I noticed a rubber mat underneath that I didn't know about. I considered different options for the rubber mat, but ultimately decided to sell it, and continue with my original subfloor plan. But regardless of what I decided, I needed to remove the mat in order to clean the metal floor.
Then I realized that the rubber mat extended under the metal divider between the cab and cargo areas. And despite my best efforts to slide it out, my plan for the day changed from a simple clean and prep to a full bulkhead removal.
I experienced some newbie struggles, but I was still able to successfully remove the bulkhead, which turned out to be easier than I expected.
FINALLY, I can actually move on to starting to build my floors.
Tools I used:
Power drill with socket bits
Adjustable wrench to use as clamp for the nuts
