i know its a fishing channel but i dont reallly watch it to see fish, i watch it to see the humour, the entertainment, and the friendship, the fish are the bonus, as ive said before i love urs and john boys channels fish or no fish
As many have said it’s called fishing not catching so keep posting the good and bad days, despite bi- weekly attempts I haven’t caught anything since 4th April but 2 trips planned in the next 4 days believing good things come to those who wait👍 Best of luck for your next session…ádh mór ☘️☘️☘️

Cheers pal, that's literally the session summed up in them words... tried my hardest, but that's fishing pal. I'm put this week at some point, might go chasing hounds... unsure yet. Stay local to myself I think.
@@thatsabite ye good idea mate, i went after the hounds in swansea on sunday. Ended up with my PB at 10lb 15oz. Must have been 30 or 40 of them caught, they were coming out all over the place.
You bet we wanna see the vids fish or blank. It would get boring in you bagged up every time. Having a hard session makes the good times even more sweeter plus theres always something to learn Its many moons ago since i last fished that sandbar. I think that session was probably a blank too lol. If you hit it on its day, boy it can be hectic but on a bad day …well its doir outing , thats for sure. Have you tried along side the runway at Dinas Dinlle ? I seem to recall catching some tope from there years ago..maybe worth a look. Keep em coming and get the other fruitcake back in action. It don't matter if you catch or not mate it's taking part and time to record videos ...very informative from you both ...I'm from northwest near Blackpool and Southport ...let me tell ya I've been fishing best part of 40 years I'm not professional by any means I've had a few blank sessions as well .... keep them lines tight good hunting next time mate 👍👍👍
You’ve done well to learn to cast with a penn mag reel ,I had the first ones from USA they where really fast running, I had them reel down the bottom of the rod ,,they do send the bait out though ,
Nice blank lol glad you have warned about the water creeping behind that's one place you can keep but do you know any places like Llandudno that's just up an down not far to walk
Stuff like this is close to my heart, I lost a family member last year in the conwy River... it ripped us apart. So anything like that, I'll always always mention.... your best of fishing pensarn at high or llandudno on the wall. Ideal because you can pretty much park up.

@@thatsabite good 😊 because like I said a lot of people think when you go fishing you catch all the time but they don’t realise that it’s been edited etc it’s like when I go lure fishing the times I’ve blanked and it’s the joy of fishing because it makes you think what am I doing wrong or is it the conditions the bait or something simple like how you fish so it’s been honest in your videos and if you ever come up north you are more than welcome to come lure fishing so if you do give us a shout and try and get John up as well
@@thatsabite I would love to give sea fishing ago but not on a boat haha and a lot of the marks you go my dad used to fish them years ago he used to love his sea fishing
Great video Mike but would you find using a multiple reel with the winding on the over side better for you looking at your normal reel you wind with your left hand and not with your right lol all the best from Paul from Staffordshire England 🇬🇧 👍

Fish make no difference to me. As you asked I would of scratched around in the weed for some crabs, even small hardbacks if that's all there is and tried one rod for hounds and bass, should be both there now 👍
Your right in what your saying. I did have a scratch around first for thay reason. I pulled in one hard back in the weed that was so big, only the boot could be used to send him back into the menai... 😂
Don’t matter if you blank got to show the session we all blank pal you can’t catch fish if there not feeding in front of you but your out fishing that’s what matters 👍
The answer to the question is better to be out than on the couch so yes it show's people who are thinking of going sea fishing it's not all ways fish a chuck it's how it is so yes keep them coming after all we don't now your going to black as if it was any of us you never now every day is different you could go back tomorrow and have the best days fishing
Exactly!! I appreciate the honest words of wisdom buddy. That's it, it's not all plain sailing most sessions. I should go back over the next few days, evening low tides, it'll fish its nut of. Always does in the dark there. I'm convinced of it.
It was mainly a tester, in future I won't be saying anything other than uploading buddy... I was pretty much unsure how you lit would cope, but... I'll keep going, I'll soon have a hound or two on the bank and definitely wrestling the bully's in no time 😂
is there any reason you always fish the anglesey side of the straights and not Y Felinheli or Caernarfon you can virtually fish from your car on this side
