Well the transparent kayak would be more safe to ride in than a normal one. Mainly because most sharks attack kayaks because they mistake it for a seal. And since his is transparent, the shark knows that it is not a seal but a nasty tasting human.

Only a true Aussie announces to his camera that there is a “big bull shark” in the immediate area, and then proceeds to casually hop into the water to give his camera a better view of the enormous predator
Why is it more probable that he was knocked in the water? Given the shark isn't even close to the kayak at any point during the recording, nor does he mention being knocked off, common sense should tell you that he jumped in to get a better look.

And even then its less suicidal than the ones that do the same in croc infested waters. At least sharks don't generally leap out of the water, grab you, and pull you under.

There are way to many bull sharks in Australia never seen one myself but i do know that they are the most aggressive shark in the world so I’m quite glad I’ve never seen one
Yeah they're pretty aggressive, aren't they? I remember reading somewhere that most sharks are chill as long as they aren't sick or starving, but bull sharks are just angry or something.
@@rayanderson5797 yeh and there are so may of them. i worked on a prawn trawler and id see 30 a night at least. the odd tiger, only ever seen one white. but them bull sharks get very big lol

Imagine looking down and seeing a massive shark, open mouthed, preparing to breach up at ya. I'd become a human squid and "ink" the hell outta that kayak.
that's what happened on Shark Week. if you watch that clip in slow mo, you can see the snout of that shark busting thru that contraption and exactly how close it was to the dude in the box. scary shii. I would have lost control of all bodily fluids/function and most likely had a heart attack
@scorpion-lg4ic Yeah, I remember that. If it's the same clip I'm thinking of, it made me jump because I actually thought it would breach over, not into, the box. It was a horizontal, clear but open on top shark cage, hey? The opening on top was almost level with the water...
