As someone who has property on Bull Shoals and understands that the core has the right to raise/lower the levels, this is/was totally unacceptable. especially last summer which had a long and warm dry spell, to have the water level reach this high wo any reasonable explanation, makes me boil. Alot of people who rely on the fishing trade at Bull Shoals were devastated by this. Shame on core of engineers.. i will forever make their life difficult in "managing" this lake.
update july 2024- this year slightly above avg. rainfall in the region and the lake levels are avg. or slightly below. So it is a totally contrarian outlook - high rain, low lake level. Low rain, high lake levels. F' the Core of Engineers.
