I've always wondered about the rental RVs. I'm curious to hear about your experience with them if you don't mind sharing. The park is absolutely beautiful and I'm thankful that people have options on where to stay!
Happy travels!I was there several times as a kid in the 1970s.we fished the lake which was crystal clear.camped at sunset point resort.looks like it did then.
The very last sight along the river is for small campers (like a pop-up) or tent. It is on the river, large, and only one side has a neighbor. Excellent site!
Great job on the video. We enjoyed watching! We’ve camped at BS-WR SP more times than we can count. We’ll be camping there again next month. My dad’s family lived up river at Oakland, Arkansas, in the 1920’s-1930’s before Bull Shoals Lake was formed. Though we love our home state of Texas, Arkansas state parks are the absolute best!
That is super cool! Wonderful that you have family history in the area. We live in Missouri but also love traveling down to Arkansas. So many wonderful places to visit! Safe travels and happy camping.
Really want to say thank you for showing the tent sites in this video. I've been searching for images to get an idea and y'alls video was the lifesaver!
Thanks, Jennifer! I’m super glad that you found the video helpful. That’s exactly why we do them! It has been a fun hobby. I hope you love your time at White River State Park!
I just really stumbled onto your channel today and I have to say you all provide the most detailed information of all the places you visit. Your videos are very well organized. We bought an RV in 2020 during COVID so we could get away. We also live in the great state of Missouri!
That’s awesome! I am thrilled that you are enjoying our channel. We have enjoyed putting out videos that feature some incredible places in our state and surrounding areas. We are already looking forward to warmer weather so we can get back out and enjoy it! Happy New Year!
I don’t live but 10 minutes from here and I go here all the time! I love this video so much!! You guys did so great and this is very helpful for anyone who has never came. I’m sharing this with some people.
hello from the Ozarks!! yep ark. is blessed with year round state parks. bull shoals, norfork are my place to go for underwater sports lakes are so clear, love that area! cheers!!
Eating beside that river is a good idea. We also love camping.. And yes we can only during Autumn and Spring. Too cold in a winter and too hot in summer. 👍♥️❣️-#GlimpseofJapan
Nice to know that its a little more well known than i thought. I have a house that’s directly across from the state park. Its brown and has a big window on it. If you want to rent it its on vrbo.
We really enjoy it there. It is a great place to go off season for us (living in Missouri) since the Arkansas parks (at least this one) are open year round with hookups.
We love Arkansas! It's one of our favorite places in the world! So many awesome places to camp! We recently went to Daisy State Park near Kirby, Arkansas over the Memorial Day weekend--it was awesome!
Great looking campground and some great shots in this video! Love what you guys are doing with these campground videos. Its nice to collect them into a playlist and use it when planning trips!
Thank you so much. It will indeed be nice as the collection grows...even for our own use. It is easy for us to forget about certain features, or get one campground confused with another. We have already used the videos to refresh our memory before heading back to a place we visited. We appreciate the comments! :)
hello from the Ozarks!! you guys give fine detail useful information! how did your rv handle the hills in that area? I agree fall and spring is the best time to visit a state park and winter in Arkansas.
Our truck handled the hills just fine pulling our RV. Our previous truck, an F250 gas, would have likely struggled. Our new truck is a Ford F350 diesel and it is working out fantastic! Here is a video we did on selecting our truck. I Bought The Wrong Truck! // F250 Gas vs. F350 Diesel [EP 15] ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0npoZkMNVyQ.html
Thank you, Jackie. We have been fortunate that when we camped in November it has not been bitterly cold. If the weather was going to be below freezing, we would likely invest in a heated hose to prevent our line from freezing. Our tanks do have tank heaters, so we should be fine there. Safe travels and happy camping!
Thank you so much! For a hitch, we use the Andersen system and we love it. I have a video on our channel with a full review. Good luck and happy camping!
@@TodayisanAdventureDay Thank you for prompt reply. We have the AUH as well & like it a lot. Thinking of going to the Reese Goosebox down the road. We're in SW MO as well..been in Springfield for 30+ years. For now we're weekend warriors until we retire in about another 18 months.
New subscriber here. Sent over by Rockotopia Acres . Love seeing some of the parks in our area and looking forward to exploring them as my toddler get older. Definitely going to catch up on your videos and get some ideas of parks to visit. Check our channel if you get a chance.
