@@DuelingTreeMike You’re welcome! I ended up buying a hardtop for my LJ. I put it on last week and I love it. I can send you some pictures of it installed.
I’m really hoping I can get some hard uppers for my half doors some day. They were stout and felt like great quality. I wouldn’t have to fight with the zippers anymore 😂
@@civilianjeeps both my zippers became stuck and wouldn’t allow me to unzip the windows. My driver side zipper became unseamed and left a big gap on the back corner allowing water to bullrush in whenever it poured rain w/wind. Ive been eyeing their hard uppers for years and finally gifted myself a set for my birthday few months ago. I had to do alittle hinge adjusting for driver door upper to line up with hardtop and close. Passenger side was a breeze to install w/o adjustments.
Made in Tennessee near where I live really made me want to go visit. Now that I’ve been I definitely want their top on my LJ. Heck even the CJ too, but I feel like I’d use the LJ top more. They really take pride in their craft and seem to be great quality.
@@civilianjeeps I really wanted a hard top when I bought a jeep, but ended up with a soft. Something that i may have missed in the video, are these mostly permanently installed, or are they easy to install and remove. Say if I wanted to have it on during the winter, and off for the summer.
@@renegadeadventuredivision they can be easily removed. They use all the factory locations like the factory tops. They have better hardware that come with their tops too. I’m probably going to get an LJ top with a sunroof. Currently getting my newborn in and out of the Jeep is a huge pain so I’m hoping I can just put her in through the rear window.
@@civilianjeeps haha whatever works right! I'd love to see a hard top install video if you get one. I wish it were in my cards to get a hard top right now. So many things I want to do first.
@@renegadeadventuredivision will do! I’m trying to decide on if I want to color match the hardtop to my LJ or just keep it the standard black. An extra $150 for a color matched top is hard to overlook.
