Good quality! Can't recall the opening announcer. He had a radio show of his own, too. :)

The hapless, hopeless, bumbling Denny has to be the Joe Biden of the detection game. Since first i heard B.D., i wondered whether the restaurant chain Denny's had anything to do with the 'dog's assistant. Talk about "no visible means of support"---how about no evident reason for this stammering stumbler being at the right hand of---cohabiting with(!!) the greatest detective in, well, the neighborhood. What's the deal? Please, don't let's anybody say 'dog & Denny were flying the Rainbow! These two around ANYBODY'S neck, that's crewel, & unusually punishing too. Denny: what an oaf! But i love him; if he's no Watson he doesn't have to be as Baker Street springs eternal. Bulldog's cases are more than a little contrived & i wonder what exactly he was a "Captain" of---but i think in the big picture each of us completes another & there HAD to be a Bulldog cuz there was already.(& always will be) a Denny or someone like him. Out of the fog and into, well, more fog: Captain Drummond, you're definitely Number Two on my list!
