I absolutely love the hard-boiled dialogue guys like Jack Webb (aka Jeff Regan) spoke in this and other shows he was in. I loved the dialogue from him as Joe Friday on Dragnet....especially when he and his partner were interrogating a suspect. Good stuff!!

Another great show from Radio's Golden Age ! Love it ! THANKS for uploading ! Right away I recognized Ed Begley Sr as 'Grundy" (like Jack Webb, he was very active in radio). Though later Jack made his name mostly in TV, Begley starred mostly in movies (though later he did appear as a guest star in many TV series). Ed even won an Best Supporting Actor Oscar for 1962's "Sweet Bird of Youth".

I liked how Webb had a habit of presenting Hispanic characters as non-stereotypical authority figures here and in Dragnet. Decent guy, by all accounts.
