Try to anchor the bottom of the track in the front so the track can not turn and the dozer will pull itself out by walking in the the track. I hope you understand how this works.
Absolutely love the old yellow iron!! My grandpa was a equipment operator for many years and that is the kind he ran. An old D7 like that can do as much work as today's D8 or D9. It's a shame they don't make equipment like that anymore.
Dude how about you get your kids outta the damn way! Better yet don't bring them to do something dangerous like that. ( Yes it's dangerous because if those cables snap under pressure they can cut a man straight in half! Not to mention they were running around while the red truck was trying to back up.)
That was my thoughts as well, it's dangerous enough for the guy in the dozer but to have the kids that close is a bad idea. I've seen what busted cables and chains can do and it is absolute carnage.
Norway! Its an old flatbed artillery truck from the army surplus which I rebuilt into a tipper truck. You can see it close up In some of my other videos
lucky is all i ca n say about that one. Ive had 13 cats over the years and managed to turn two over, and if you get one stuck, no matter the size, its a pain to get unstuck.....great video,,,,good job,,,,dont do it again!!!
Shorts, mini van, sneakers, little kids. Are you guys pros or weekenders. Met a logger here log rolled off truck killed his 8 year old. I rented my D7G last year to guy he let kid at controls he was sitting next to him by blade lever. He fell of was in coma 3 weeks hospital 3 months, now crippled for life. I heard today a guy 25 miles from me was decapitated today with a loader. It's ok to train kids just be very careful.
I would say it comes down to identifying the dangerous parts. I don't say accidents cant happen, but after 30 years of living with machines, you tend to know the dangerous parts and take measures. Someone does not just fall out of a machine and under the tires or tracks, you have failed in numerous places to get to that point. You don't let kids drive machines if you are not 100% sure you have control of the situation. If its flat terrain, closed cab, in low gear at idle speed, I see no problems letting a kid try to operate a dozer or loader if I'm sitting next to him. As said before, if you have 10s of thousands of hours of operating equipment you know how the machine and operator will react to certain inputs and situations. You can therefore take countermeasures before danger comes to play. But again, accidents do happen, and they always will. And life would be pretty boring if we should walk around with helmets afraid of being hit by a meteorite.
HA !!!!! The chains that goofy old coot was hooking up to try and drag that thing out might be strong enough to hold up a bird feeder......... LMAO !!!!!
I had a drainage plow on a Terex dozer - first trick is to realize you are not coming out on your own. We cut about 8" x 4 foot tree pieces and got them under each track.
Mucha distancias Recorrio el tractor dé orugas hay que usar el Angloducer en diagonal cruzar el Angloducerpaa mayor rapidez del Equipo( ese material Sinouso es muy pesado saludes
No, its a one axis ripper witch can only move up and down, put we were able to lift the back of the dozer ewit ther ripper, enough to get som trees and brush under for traction
My wife and I don’t care what anybody says. To the both of us there is nothing more beautiful than some little precious gifts from God, Playing. We raised 4, beautiful, precious, Deeply loving boys. Both of us are born and raised here in Northwest Montana5 miles from the Canadian border. 17 and three-quarter miles from the Idaho State line and we raised all 4 boys right here on our land. In what is called the, YAAK VALLEY.

Traditional or not the only thing that matters is that you got it out. Good video. In the beginning of the video did you record the dozer by walking in front of it or with a drone?
I walked in front, i understand people's safety concern but the driver is 100% focused on me filming. These videos are made for youtube purposes and not in professional work. Its also my father and we know each other pretty well and communicate by hand signals behind the scenes ;)
@@evjone I wasn't worried about the safety, nothing is going to happen as long as the operator is paying attention to you. I record heavy machinery too and like how you recorded this video. Well done 👍
This is how I was weaned. Dad was a dozer hand & I went where he went. Drove my first D-6 when I was 8. Across a flooded Bitter Creek in Grady Co. Oklahoma. Dad drove the picup. 1963 I think. I wouldn't trade those day's for gold. I was as safe as if I was in my mother's arm's. When I started school I was a year ahead of the other kid's but I didn't know it. A good way to raise a boy.
Shove the blade down as far as poss then feed a 8 inch tree trunk under the tracks - side to side and as near to centre as possible. It;ll claw its way up on top and rock over forwards
Yes , you have to be a bit inventive sometimes , particularly if you are on your own out in the stix, and its nice to be prepared with some nice long cables and chains hiding in your tool box just in case . Nothing worse than being helpless on your own .
It s the attachment on the back that got you stuck , I d call that a design flaw , once you get that up you can drive out of that shite with no problem
🤣🤣🤣 The tool bar on the back doesn't have anything attached to it. @ 11:06, when he starts the engine and raises it up, the tool bar is clear of the ground.
local homeowner with a D8(?) grading backfill with his 10 year old Son playing nearby..It didn't end well..The Father soon thereafter committed suicide from the guilt..
Este Material es muy plastico con exeso de humedad cuando está seco produce una Gran sponja tipo bolsa de Aire se hunde con el peso y luego resal para arriba
It happens pretty quick some days ,you don’t have to try very hard quite often you think if I give that just one more push it would look so much better then you are stuck (dammit)🫤
