So many talented Matt singers out there - Matt Tuck, Matt Shadows, Matt Heafy...

People comparing this to Shadow Moses...the only things that reassemble that song are the 0-0-0 strumming pattern at the beginning (Which is a perfectly common metalcore strumming pattern that you could find in any other core band other than BMTH) and the drum beat at the first verse...but not even the lyrics or the melody reassemble in any way...and after that, the song is completely different... wtf are you all talking about...

Did not think much if this song at first. The bouncy guitar riff throughout just kept throwing me off, but the more you listen to the song the more you pick up on everything that's going on. It in some ways brings back very early Bullet with the orchestra undertones and simpler instrumental sections. Lyrically, they have 100% matured from their angsty, mid-to-late 2000s selves, all the while diversifying their musical prowess to blend their older and newer sounds. Also. Fuck BMTH.

Looks like Jamie was more than a worthy replacement for Jay. Heck, I think Jamie complements Matt pretty well. Matt can mostly focus on singing, while Jamie can focus on screaming.

I just realised that this song is completely related to the breakdown of his marriage...i feel so sad for him. Since i was young i always felt like i was "linked" to every bfmv songs...and i felt somehow close to matt' and now i understand why this band is so important to me. I went through the same shit...breaking up with my beloved. I remember listening Venom with her in bed....and a week after the release ...we were done....since then i was struggling so much...so hard just to get by....and now i finally see light again.... I just got back from their concert with breaking Benjamin and Avenged Sevenfold. Bullet for my Valentine were the openers and they killed it beyond belief. Everything sounds just like their album, but with more power and energy. Really got the crowd hype, and was the best performance of the night!!!!

This new bassist screamer saved them in my opinion since Matt can't scream as intense as he used to cause the bassist screams and vocals are on point

a lot of people comparing this to BMTH are either deaf or stupid i'm sorry. Plus unlike BMTH at least this has still got some balls to it. Bullet may have evolved their sound over the years but at least they've stayed true to the heavier/metal part of their sound especially with Venom after Temper Temper. Not to mention Bullet are actually doing pretty awesome live shows lately something that I think BMTH have never been able to do. But please Bullet stay in Drop B or go even lower and bring back some of those more complicated structures and riffs from SAF (or even crazier stuff) ;D ... give us your Shogun equivalent it is all i want! xD

Gravity is the most controversial, yet the most underratted BFMV album! Change my mind! People want BFMV to release a new Poison or a new Fever every 2-3 years. The 2000s are over, just deal with it. Times change and people change as well. I thought that a succesful marriage between electronic music and metal was impossible, until I heard Gravity. It just sounds so....right to my ear. Every single mix is incredible, mixing many sounds together into a single song. Lyrically it is what I expect from a BFMV, the whole aesthetic of the band matches perfect with the era we are currently going through. This album deserves way more recognition. PS: As for solos, it is their first attempt with this type of sound. I'm confident they'll somehow figure out how to put a solo in one of their future songs. But still don't expect anything face melting. A good example for what can be expected is the solo from Post Malone's "Take What You Want" IMO.

Don't get me wrong, this is good. But it doesn't have the wow factor songs like Your Betrayal, Tears Don't Fall, Hand of Blood, and Hearts Burst Into Fire have. Why is that? What is this missing? My initial reaction is that it's missing some melodies and a solo, but I reckon that's not what really matters here. Plus, the whole song is actually pretty melodic and catchy. Is it really just a guitar solo?

Dislikes are either from demented BMTH fans or younger fans of bullet who don't know how they started. Some younger fans could be like 12-15 and would have only been around 0-3 when the poison came out, so would only know maybe fever-venom
