For Bullet for My Valentine’s fifth studio album, Venom, Tuck dug into his past and unearthed numerous memories of being beaten up and humiliated and used them as inspiration for the songs. The anthemic “You Want a Battle? (Here’s a War)” is about how, after his group became popular, Tuck took aim at those who made him feel hopeless and helpless. Even teachers at school told me to stop chasing this stupid dream and do something else with my life. They said I’d never be able to play guitar in a band and tour the world.Tuck sifted through his troubled past for Venom not to vent, but to match the musical aggression of the songs on the album. Didn't he prove all them wrong.

I used to love when BFMV's videos told a story, like in tears don't fall, all these things, wakin the demon and the last fight, but this one is the best they've done. The lyrics at first sounded like an angry teenager about to burst into tears, this video changed my mind, it's deeper and darker than that.

Kerry Wichterich Don't want to turn this into a personal soapbox, but I had a friend who would act like the male character in his bouts of anger (hence, why we ain't friends anymore). Rage/Anger is powerful emotion, and some people don't know how to express it appropriately. Obviously the band chose to express their anger about this subject in a positive manner by writing material on it, but others just choose to take it out on innocent people/objects. Doesn't matter the object's value or the relationship with the person, they just want release of their emotional tension. So I understand at first glance why destroying that nice guitar may seem like a "wtf" move, but in the eye's of that male antagonist, he could not give two shits about it. He wanted control of himself and express dominance over her, and that was his way of doing it.

This video is so relatable! It just reminds me of what happened in Russia not long ago. Three girls stabbed their father to death. They had to defend themselves because he abused them in the most horrific ways. They are under trial now. So sad that sometimes murder is the only way to stop abuse.

I'm 30yo, 13 years has past and I still havent seen BFMV LIVE!! I cant die happy without it!! Plz Bullet, come in Quebec sooner than later! You made me what I am, I was 17 back then, my first love just broke up with me, I bought NHL09 and Hearts Burst Into Fire was the first song to play when I played it for the first time and I was listening to it between every single games!! Gapa Because it's just not good. Plus, it was nothing new. All the songs sound like the songs from 'Fever'. It's like they released 'Fever' again and expected no one to notice.

Temper Temper was actually alright. Scream Aim Fire still is my favorite. Fever is a close 2nd. I can tell this album will either tie with Fever or be a close 3rd to Fever.

Sencillamente los amo y amo su trabajo, me encantan y no dejaré de seguirlos, quizás no soy como el resto de los fans que los siguen desde el comienzo, aún así yo estimo el trabajo que hacen. this video is up there with Tears Don't Fall, massive fan of BFMV been to see em live twice in Manchester (Fookin Awesome) also got the T-Shirts and a fookin metal bottle opener (writing is weared off though now) although i thought Temper Temper was pretty manufactured this album is amazing, fav tracks are this, Raising Hell and No Way Out

I am listening to BFMV actively since 2004 and they have progressed so much as a band. This is, in my honest opinion, their best song ever. It really is deep and emotional and still a badass song. Even the video is great! I love BFMV!
