When i was 10 years old we had this thing at school where we would bring a CD and everyone could play a song that they wanted and the whole class would give points to each song. We basically ranked all the songs for fun. I played this song and the teacher told me that this was the worst song she had ever heard. I still remember that 14 years later. And this song is still awesome
I think the more likely explanation is this song was relatively cheap to license. But that doesn't mean they also didn't like it or that it was a bad choice. This song has grown on me personally.
@@georrodi Very true and at the time Bullet was still kind of in it's infancy (key word kinda) when they added it to the game so that could be a reason why it was cheap to license

I heard this in a car ride skipping school during Freshman year of high school and have been a metal head all my life since. Before that all I listened to was butt rock and pop punk lol
before EA bought criterion to make shitty NFS games...... Burnout was better than any of their nfs games and nfs was better with codebreakers or whoever was making them before.
Last time I was happy was when I was 12, played NFS:MW and listening to this song while racing The Blacklist. Now I'm almost 25 and all I have is good memories.
im the same age my man still listening to this. as a matter of fact i broke up with my girl a couple a days ago after 4 years. sitting here listening to this and going back in years from when i was a kid wondering where the years went. life is short and all we have on the end is this nostalgia and memories. we should try to make the best of it .
im 22 bout to be 23 found this group when I was a freshman in high school lol. Whole reason I even picked up a guitar and now I can play a third of there songs. shits crazy doesn't feel like its been that long

Imagine this: 2005 hearing this while playing on PS2/GameCube/etc. And this song comes on while playing a racing game and you instinctually lean forward into the gamer pose of actually trying, go from 4th to 1st headbanging your ass to the finish line. NOS, nostalgia, and victory.

I was able to play this song in music class and everyone thought it was terrible, but my music teacher thought it was good and she likes to listen to metal, rock, punk etc.
I had a similar one with slayer but teacher also didnt like it but then i again my song choice porbably wasnt the best ... it was silent scream if anybody cares hahaha

I totally loved the Poison and someone recommended me Trivium's - Ember to Inferno but I just couldn't get in to that band. I guess it was the vocals that are always screaming.
I was teaching a class in 2006 and I had a few dark looking unhappy students that listened to this band. I remember that they lit up so brightly when they found out I like this band and a number of others too.
I was on their concert today ,and they didn't perform Hand of Blood :( Amazing experience and amazing concert,but i feel sad they skipped my favourite song :(

Damn this was my childhood band. Until recent that i started to really take my role in music i didnt realize how extremly talented they were. I mean all of them. Back then i was just a kid and a hopeless romantic but dude. They rule.
