Damn, this song grows on me every time I listen to it. The whole album is actually well crafted, thought out, and passionate. Sure it's different to their old stuff, but who cares! Same is boring.

Apparently I'm the only person that absolutely loved this album front to back. Sure their heavier album days were fun and nostalgic but artists change, people change, and time changes things. Age gracefully!! The band is. Take heed in the message to this song too. Your time is ticking.

So different .. yet not bad . But i still like the old BFMV, the scream , solos , heavy guitar sound and the meaningful lyrics yet i think they are experimenting things and trying to evolve and learn more . I just hope that the next album will be the same as the first ones ..

Nice to see another person in the same boat. Messed up stuff happens to us in life, but great music is a massive help. This album is awesome. The poison is awesome. Everything they do is awesome, but no two albums sound the same, and nor should they. Saw them last month. They only played 4 songs from their new album. They played all of their best songs throughout the show. They did good. Still though, they need to go back to heavy metal.

Yeah they played the same songs at the show in kansas city. that was also their first show of their tour. it sucks that We came as Romans weren't at that show that night but I did get a picture and autograph with Bad Omens. That was pretty cool

A lot of people gave bullet hate for changing from Album to album. Some bands do make a bad move doing that, but this is one of the few I think did it smart and actually have always made good music regardless. Me, I'm 21, and I've loved there music since I heard waking the demon when I was 8 years old. I'm a fan of a lot of styles of music(except country but don't knock anyone who likes it). Plus there music has helped through hard times and still helps me get through whatever day I'm having.

It seems like a good few bands have, a7x’s been doing it and look at their newest album, same for slipknot, bfmv too. It’s okay for bands to do something different, I get the hate but I love all the changes. It shows they’re not afraid to do what they wanna do as they’ve always have been doing. In other words they’ve never really changed. I personally love the album.

I don't understand these self-claimed fans! every band, at one point of their career, do experiment with the sound as they always strive for the sound they want to play. Accept the fact, spread it, listen to it. BFMV lyrics and composition always has a lot to offer to the listeners, it's not like the new album is not fun! every fan keeps these track on loop and then again, say 'we miss old BFMV'. like what? listen to old BFMV, and new, just don't complain! accept both and wish them best of luck for future endeavors. They are the reason why love for metal still exists till this generation!

BFMV was my favourite band when I was a teenager and over the years, I kinda drifted away from them. And honestly? After years of not listening to them (and still loving their old stuff) I'm glad to see they're still doing well and that they enjoy the music they make. I remember reading an interview where Matt was like "we used to care and just do what our fans want but now we're doing what we love" and I'm happy that they do that. Their music grows up just like we all do and that's fine. And I really enjoy the new stuff, I found. I hope they continue to do what they love and I'll definitely start listening a lot more to them again

They never sounded the same in every álbum, fever is different from the poison, as well with venom, and so obviusly gravity, the problem is that this doesnt sound like bfmv, this is only matt tuck, it would be great if the power of the old albums would be on gravity, in my opinion the power and the passion is not there anymore, they can experiment obviusly, but this is far of an experiment I think

right, everyone is saying that Bullet For My Valentine is no longer the same band as before, remember, Venom was the previous album and there was a lot of Heavy Metal and Metalcore on the album. Now the band is experimenting with new styles, the strong drum line remains the same, they’re just experiencing the different, next album I’m sure they’ll come back, stronger than Venom.

I'm new in hearing from BFMV, their songs were awesome like Tears Don't Fall, Waking The Demon, Hearts burst into fire, etc. All their old songs were the best thing I've ever heard. Now about "Gravity", I'd say it is not as great as the old Albums, but still we should all appreciate that this great band is still making music for us fans. And that's just my opinion btw.

personally enjoyed the entire album. it has it's own charm. it just hits different from other stuff they were making b4. I do understand why about 25-30% of BFMV were upset and I understand that, but they just couldn't accept such changes that quick. and it's just either you enjoy it or throw in a bin. but knowing Matt, he'll never make the actual bad album 🖤

There is not only one true "metal". Metal has changed throughout the years, I think this is just a slow modern metal song. So many other rock and metal bands use electronic sounds in their songs nowadays. I totally agree tho, I want fast and heavy Bullet, but you need to understand what Matt went through when making this album. I don't think you feel like writing fast and heavy songs when you are heartbroken. This album was great imo, but I sure hope we get something more headbanging next time.

Almost my thoughts. I dont really like the album because the song structure is almost the same in every song and we dont have any guitar solos (sadly). But yeah, we have to accept that this album is different and youre right by saying that Matt went through a hard time. I am actually pretty sure that the next album will be heavier. Lets just wait and see how it goes and lets hope Matt feels better now to write more heavier stuff :D

I genuinely love this song. I'm also a huge fan of The Poison and Scream Aim Fire (and everything since), but I find their newest album to be... Refreshing. It's really not as pop-rock as everyone is claiming it to be. It's not even fair to compare them to a lot of the sell-out rock/metal bands today. They still have some solid, metal bangers on Gravity as well. I agree they could have done without all of the "whoa-o," but I still really enjoy this song!

I think that they did amazing! Yeah it may be different from what they’ve done in the past but i think this is a good different. I mean yeah you may not like their new song or album but that doesnt mean you have to hate the band for making it. They put in so much hard work to produce something they thought a lot of people would enjoy and if you loved BFMV before and then heard this and was like nope i dont like them anymore then you never really liked them in the first place. Thats because you judged them on who they are and didnt think about what they may have been thinking or going through. Its okay to not like a song or album from a band that you really love but that doesnt mean you have to all of a sudden hate the band because you didnt like what they produced. BFMV stay amazing and keep doing what y’all love!

This couldn't have been said any better. All I can see is teeny minded metalheads who want only one kind of music to be made again and again. What's pathetic is some of these dudes even complain when a band makes the same type of music saying they're gone stale, they should probably retire now. I usually don't post on the tube, but I can't help this one. If you watch countless interviews, Matt states that this album is not to showcase their talents. The albums sole purpose is to experiment with different technologies and to show emotions through lyricism. I applaud their "leap of faith" and quite enjoy it.

Actually a pretty decent song. Sure it sounds different and I am not a big fan of the new album but this song stands out lyrically from the other songs which makes this song a bit unique on the album. I still hope that Bullet for my Valentine will go a bit back to their older sound because Venom was a blast with the solos, the agressive screaming parts and the melodic riffs. Not hating on that album, just hoping they dont stay with that sound. Still my favorite band!
