I got pulled over once while listening to this track in my car. I guess I just got really into it, 'cause I was going WAY over the speed limit on this long back road where a trooper was chillin and didn't even realize it until I saw his lights in my rear view. Why does everyone hate Danger Days so much? I freaking love that album. Sure, it's different from the rest of their albums, but it's not like they're gonna sound exactly the same 10 years later, they just wanted to try something new. Besides, I love that this album had a fun and unbeat tone to it, it gives me a very happy feeling. :) This is definitely one of my favorite songs on Danger Days.
+Helena Scarlett i love that all their albums have a certain theme and concept to .particularly like black parade is about death/not afraid of death and danger days is like kinda superhero-ish and telling you to fight for your beliefs and never forget your dreams. so i like both and though they're very different but both ideas apply to me. there really isnt one which is "better", all are music we like.

You know what, I think I'm okay with the break up. I mean, we got 4 amazing albums and they even threw in a extra one just before they split! For me I think the albums themselves signify the stages of moving on, or grief, like: I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love - The first initial stage of being hurt, there's a mixture of anger and just sheer anguish throughout the album Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge - This album speaks of the anger one feels after, the blind undirected anger towards everyone and everything, the need to get revenge. The Black Parade - This is the stage where you start to calm down, to start realizing the truth of the matter, and that you can't necessarily change that, this is the stage of acceptance. Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys - Here guys, they're telling us we don't have to mourn forever! We can move on and start to enjoy life again! To reap the day and steal back our dreams. That's why i believe after Danger Days they really didn't know what to sing about anymore, as they said, they just weren't feeling it, because they're jobs had already been completed. And they were right! They gave us so much to live for, they laved lives, they told people a way to live that didn't need to involve hurting themselves, because they had lived it themselves. And i thank them for that, for they are immortal in their words. Thank you, My Chemical Romance. Idk I think this song is super more emo than black parade. At least black parade had some emo incentives like cancer. But there's no way running away from successful tours, album sales, and obvious exposure is bothering him so much that even Gravity is giving him grief. Overall black parade is op. This is almost pop. Bet this could be great acoustic.

Oh gosh I'm 20 years old and I remember when I discovered them when I was 10 or 11. Helena was my first song I heard from them. It's been such a long time.
It pains me to know that my kids will never know this band. Some think that this is just some emo band, but really it isn't, it is just a group of people expressing their emotions through music that should be enjoyed by anyone, not just emos. It also pains me that I will never see this band live. I discovered you way too late MCR.
I have so many good things in my life but sometimes I dwell on the past and.... I don't have a bulletproof heart at all. As stated by falloutboy: "my heart is an orphanage, we take everyone in." and most of the time I'm just scared. Because it feels like everyone just ends up leaving. For those innocent souls who haven't heard of the Smashing Pumpkins Theory for MCR, this is the gist of it. A while ago, Gerard mention how he wanted their band to take the same path as TSP. Smashing Pumpkins were together for 12 years, broke up for 6, them got back together. My Chemical Romance was together for 12 years, and by the time we reach the 6 year break up anniversary, it will be 2019. 2019 is the year Danger Days was set in. If you didn't already know this...
