My furnace has been running on its pilot flame since I bought my 4 bedroom home 23 years ago. I have never used it for heating because I use my wood stove every winter here in Massachusetts. Woodn’t have it any other way. I go out and get all the wood myself for free.
I bought a Fisher wood stove off of Craigslist for $300 in 2012 to use as a backup for my heat pump. Heat pump broke in 2013 and has never been replaced. The wood stove is more than enough to keep the entire house warm all winter here in NE Ohio and everybody I know has trees they want cut down and hauled away! 😊
Those wood stoves are great! I've got a mid-size "Buck" stove and it has saved me a fortune in heating oil. My furnace broke a couple of years ago and I bought the replacement part last year (less than $50), but haven't fixed it yet, lol.
Thats problem of changing to democracy from republic that was done without our understanding. Give people who have nothing the power to vote the money of others away and that us what happens bringing in tyrants who will say anything for corruption and power.
I'm 37 years old and I'm a family man. I really enjoy these videos, brings a different perspective of where my hard earn money goes, and most of it goes into investing for my son's future and his family and to take care of my mom and dad, keep making videos like this I watch every video Tim makes and you make they are excellent, best investing content on RU-vid by far. and by far, I mean 100 folds. If they cut rates we are done. I don't think they can cut rates to 0 ever again or below 5% because inflation would be out of control. People are waiting for lower rates to borrow and borrowing causes inflation because it creates new currency to fund the loans.

The other day I saw a video of this economics guru claiming that debt is savings. Sadly, she's the same kind of nut job as what's running our country (into the ground).
There are a lot of coin dealers out there telling us that the currency is going to fail. All of them however are more than happy to accept the currency they say is failing in exchange for their inventory of coins and bullion.
Look-up the 'Act of 1871'. When it was passed into law that same year, it transformed the District of Columbia, aka, Washington, D.C. into a PRIVATELY-OWNED, FOR-PROFIT corporation. This means that even though D.C. is geographically located within the borders of the U.S., it is basically a separate state ( complete with it's OWN flag, Constitution, police force and Post Office, that is completely separate and has NOTHING AT ALL to do with benefitting the wishes and desires of the American people. In this respect, it is NO DIFFERENT than London District or the Vatican. A major difference is that CITIZENS OF ITALY KNOW that even though the Vatican is geographically located within the borders of (Rome),Italy, it IS INDEED and without a doubt, KNOWN TO BE a separate State that has NOTHING AT ALL to do with passing laws, creating taxes or basically GOVERNING the citizens of Italy. Unfortunately, most Americans have been CONNED into beLIEving that Washington, D.C. is still the governing body of the American people, which couldn't be any further from the truth.
A Yankee and Tim pay attention post. I sure wish you folks and our money makers can/could find a common dollar price. We take a veritival toosh kicking with every transactions we make down there and we make a LOT of transactions every day. Weather it be coins/bars or rounds and the huge amount of shopping we do on line a common dollar would be great for us all. It would sure solve a lot of unnessicary data exchanges. Listening to Tim and yourself comment about the state of your dollars is as usual something that needs to be considered. One thing I have noticed is the way Tim moves around behind the bench/counter. He could use some propper mats to stand on as the way he moves is concerning eh. You two are right up on my bucket list to come and visit. Thanks a bunch old friend. Fun one for sure.
I have mostly constitutional dimes, some quarters, some rounds too. I'm poor and took me 3yrs to accumulate my little stack. It's tiny but dang is it shiney!!!!!

I went to my coin shop today to buy $300 worth of 90% coins they where charging 18.5 times face value I ended up buying all the half dollars quarters and dimes that they had $168.00 total cost, so I asked are people buying they said yes several weeks ago people were selling

most of life is perception. Who can tell the best story. How do you influence the masses? Truth is a lost commodity. The majority do not want the truth about anything(life, morals, ethics, economics, spirituality etc).
I pray Tim can retire soon and that he can spend his retirement someplace warm and sunny, complete with a nearby racetrack! That said, I'll cry when he retires.

SHTF what's better to have stacked, firewood, food, cash or silver? Isn't currency collapsing making it worth less meaning it takes more for the same is what is happening right now and called inflation? Demand has dropped 65-75% for PM's making it harder to convert back into cash to pay bills as ppl have less disposable income. A total collapse would make it impossible. What's the exit strategy when the time comes?
There is none. The trap with pms is that if the fiat collapses and no-one can afford to buy silver or gold coin but the supply continues you are left with a pile of virtually worthless metal you can’t sell because the local coin shops won’t even pay spot.. Tim and Yankee are awesome and I love those guys but they are not telling you the whole story. If fiat goes belly up do you honestly expect people to turn to gold and silver? Honestly? I’m skeptical. If the local coin shops are a sign of how that is going to go it’s not looking good. The crazy markups and the below spot buybacks (if they are even willing to buy them back), not good.
How about lowering the "cost of living" first?! Raising minimum wage only makes it worse! Try to not buy Chinese as much as possible! BUY AMERICAN no matter what the cost!
Yankee, Tim's interview is my 'fix' for the week(but 2-3 fix a week is what we need). I loaded up on my goal for silver for the year. I not buying silver anymore, unless it drops below $20, then I may! Gold and Platinum is now my new goal. One Platinum For Every 10-Gold Coin going forward. Studying the 20-year ratio of Gold vs Silver.....GOLD is my new found goal.
