I went to this game. Still remember it like yesterday. The bulls were like rockstars and they seemed to have home court advantage even on the road. The black uniforms were awesome too.
AH ... DA' BULLS!! I NEVER GET BORED WATCHING Michael AIR Jordan & THE CHICAGO BULLS!! THANK U FOR THIS VIDEO! SCOTTIE PIPPEN ... WHAT A POWERFUL MONSTER JAM! 👍🏀😎
The crazy thing about that dunk by pippen was he wasn't 25 when he did it. He was a full 30. Most players lose a little vert by then but it didn't look like he did.
Mike Sannitti - he's so tall and his wingspan is so long that he only has to jump about half a foot to dunk. And he has huge hands, almost as large as Mj which allows him to dunk much more easily and in so many ways that guys with smaller hands cannot.
Pippen also was able to dunk from the free trow line since college years ... Or as he entered in the 1990 slam dunk contest and did it that time... AMAZING !!! best SF in the world in the 90s ... And with 6 rings and the anchor of a franchise , well , sorry for all those LeFan boys
Spectacular dunk by Pip. I was at this game and always remembered that dunk, because how far he jumped. The Clippers played about 7 or 8 games at the Pond, for about 5 or 6 years, and the place was always packed. That place deserves an NBA team.
People forget how big MJ hands were. This allowed him to palm the ball and create one handed fakes to create better shots for himself or create a passing lane for a teammate.

From 1994-1999, the Clippers played some games at the Pond...I'm from NC, but I assumed it was because they used it for certain teams, which featured a certain superstar...Idk the reason. They played their first game there in late January 1994 against the New York Knicks, due to the Earthquake that rocked LA the week before.
The reason why they played some of their home games at the pond was because the pond was a new arena back then with luxury suite boxes and more seating. Clippers played in an old outdated LA sports arena with no luxury suite boxes and with less seating they did it to make revenue.
Tons of players back then would. The problem back then is, they didn't care how much you could score. You had to know how to defend 1on1 first. Many players back then couldn't and didn't make it.
I’m from Chicago and watched all the games from the late 80’s through the championships and I don’t remember that dunk. Might have been a school night or something.
Best on-ball defender of all-time IMO. One of the greatest defensive-minds ever. He explained how to shut down James harden two years-ago. The Milwaukee Bucks have used that strategy to neutralize Harden every-single time they have played him since. Any coaching-staff would be blessed to have Pippen's mind in there.
@ 4:30...again,they already played zone in the nba back in the day...unless you get caught by the refs. @5:55,7:55...jordan had the best fadeaways ever in front of "the dream" and then kobe.jordan was 33 at that time, kobe age this season! the number of time that he could fadeaway and the different kind of fadeaways that he could get in a single game was incredible. commentators are not even surprised..not spectacular anymore..it became trivial. @8:25 LOL...he misses one of his favorite shot...
Pippen became the no.1 defensive player of that team in their second 3peat but from 84 to 93 MJ was. Dpoy in 88 ,3x steals champ, back to back seasons with 200+ steals & 100+ blocks...
So, I was watching this and noticed Brian Williams and thought "didnt he play for the bulls and lo and behold he did in the 96-97 season. He played 9 games. Then i found this odd story about him. fadeawayworld.net/2018/09/06/an-nba-star-who-disappeared-the-sad-story-of-bison-dele/
