The Bulls are leading the Series 3-1 & are looking to eliminate Charles Barkley & the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2nd Round at the Chicago Stadium. Jim Durham & Johnny "Red" Kerr with the call for SportsChannel Chicago.
Give Barkley & Co. credit. They didn't quit even though they were severely out-manned & undersized where they got destroyed on the boards. Power Forward Armen Gilliam had to play Center for almost the entire 2nd half because Rick Mahorn & Manute Bol weren't giving the 76ers anything. You can easily tell that Barkley wasn't 100% (or even 80%) by the way he's moving out there.
This would be Sir Charles last playoff game in a 76ers uniform as they failed to make the 92 Playoffs & soon after Chuck would get traded to Phoenix.
I regret I don't have the 1st half (or some of the 3rd Qtr too) because back in 1995, as a stupid teenager, I forgot about this 24-Hour Special. I started taping just as this game was more than halfway done.
