I was at this game as an 11yr old. The only time I got to see the goat play. And they lost?!?! An experience none the less.

Wow...you didn't see the Bulls getting taken to the woodshed like this very often at all during the 1990's..particularly at Chicago. Cavs were a very, VERY good team in the 1991-92 season..

Cavs in 93 were still 54-28 and had a +529 pt differential as compared to the 93 Rockets and future champions in 94 & 95 who had ònly a +347 pt differential... The Cavs were highly skilled. Health problems and Michael Jordan's big game and clutch urgency denied them access to immortality in a positive and revered manner. Instead, they are the ultimate poster boys of Jordan's reign.

The Cavs of the 90's were a tough team, but against Jordan, they could never get the job done.

this is was and will be the #4 best team coached by lenny wilkens after the #1 1979 sonics #2 1980 sonics and #3 1978 sonics because they got to round 3 and played the bulls so well especially in this 107-81 win they won game four 104-90 and lost game six 99-95 but they were the #2 best team in the 1992 playoffs behind the bulls

Idk if they were better than the 92 Blazers. They were built similar to Portland and Portland did the same revenge dance with Chicago in 92 Finals of lose a game, win a game, lose then win then lose two straight and the 4th loss lose very closely. Also the 92 Knicks did play the 92 Bulls tougher than anyone else and kind of announced at that point that in 1993 the East was going to be a New York vs Chicago debate. The 1988 to 1993 Cavs were very very good and at points great... but they also lacked either a true superstar, health or some toughness. They were also swept by 1990 Sixers of Barkley and Co. I'm pretty sure they were swept anyway.

Cavs lost 2-3 vs 90 Sixers Interesting notes Hersey Hawkins had a tremendous series 27.6 ppg Barkley 25.8 ppg or so with 14.0 trpg Daugherty 22.8 ppg with 9.6 trpg or so Mark Price 20.0 ppg 8.8 apg Hot Rod Williams 19.0 ppg Sixers outrebounded Cleveland 41.2 trpg to 40.1 or so for Cleveland... Cleveland shot an electric .517% from field Sixers a cooler 46% or so... so hard to see how Cleveland lost except for I think Barkley and Philadelphia outhustled an extremely efficient scoring ball club from Cleveland... I stand by what I said. Cleveland was tall and skilled but lacked some muscle or attitude. Philadelphia had a bulldog in Barkley outrebounding a Cleveland frontcourt that was as tall as the 86 Celtics or close to. Rick Mahorn was also a Sixer with 9.2 rpg.

@@betzaidamartinez4793 no disrespect but the cavs from 1988 through 1993 only reached the conference finals in 1992 and in the 1992 playoffs the blazers lost game one to the bulls 122-89 and lost games 3 5 and 6 by a combined 27 points and allowed 35 something points per game from michael jordan

Those '92 and '93 playoffs really took their toll on MJ. Don't forget the grind of the Olympics. As much as the Bulls dominated the Cavs this series was hard fought. This Cavs team was great but they couldn't stop MJ and the Bulls because it took a game like this to beat them. They couldn't have played a better game and the Bulls couldn't have played any worse.

Yeah youre exactly right lefty bball.. MJ was definitely mentally tired from the 92 Olympics and the the 93 season. I think if both Jerrys would have kept, Bobby Hanson, Cliff Levingston and Craig Hodges with Trent Tucker, that would've gave MJ alot of rest during the 93 season and the 93 playoffs and they probably wouldve won 60 games that year and had been Eastern Conference Champions

Charles Hilsonjr I agree. I thought that in the 92-93 season the Bulls were missing energy (a spark) off the bench like Cliff Levingston. They seemed run down. I believe that season they were terrible from the free throw line (compared to their standards) and their field goal % was down too. I remember they were actually best in the game in offensive rebounding that season (thanks to Ho Grant). But hey, MJ and Scottie led them through it nonetheless and the rest is history.

That's why I think the Rockets would've won their 1st championship regardless of who they played. They were pretty similar to the Knicks but they had more shooters, had an actual SF which was the Knicks achilles heel that gets overlooked, and Dream was the best interior player in the league at that point. Defensively Ewing and Dream were very close, so close they were the top 2 league leaders in defensive ws the season they faced off and it was only a .1 difference so there was practically no real gap between them. Offensively though Dream was the more diverse of the 2 and it showed throughout the series.
