BULLY BETA MISSIONS - "Welcome to Bullworth" & "This Is Your School" - (Cut Content + Analysis!) 

I think it's really interesting that Christy is one of the most notable minor characters: - In the beta, she's one of the students that notices Jimmy when he arrives, and is the student you ask for directions to the library. - In the final game, she's on the cheer squad, and has notable cutscene appearances: At the start of Chapter 4, Jimmy flirts with her as soon as Mandy walks away, and we see her watching the Gym burn in The Gym Is Burning. - We see her in Ted's campaign posters with Mandy, likely through her position as a cheerleader, we can hear her have a conversation with Angie in Panty Raid, and also watching the race in Race the Vale. - Finally, she has two pretty unique errands where she specifically wants you to escort her to the girl's dorm and shady motel, and talks your ear off with gossip the whole time. Sorry for my painfully obvious facts there, I just really like Christy, and think it's cool that she plays a bigger part in the game than a bunch of the other non-clique students lol

I prefer the final version because it wasn’t as long as it was, but I also prefer the beta because it just gives much more depth to the characters and environment and makes much more sense in a logical standpoint

I've said it before, this is what happens when you're limited by inferior technology. If Rockstar had waited a few years, we could have seen a more fleshed out and improved version on the PS3 and 360.

8:10 - "in the original Jimmy meets kerosene" Well, I'm sure that was an explosive encounter, to say the least.

Bully is one of those games where the beta is actually better then the final game

This mission is such a mess, I don't think I'll ever get around to recreating it. By the way, the cutscene you showed at 8:05 is just a placeholder for "Help Gary".

I think that if they did a remaster it would be great to see the beta content put back in. Things like the boys dorm, fleshed out intro cutscene etc. I think it would improve the game and make it feel like a new experience.

It's such a shame that Christy has so much cut dialogue. She's the best girl in the game!

Maaan, I really wish we had the beta version of these missions. And the beta version of the Boys Dorm and Main Building. Why Rockstar whyyy?

It's extremely sad that we never got this version of Bully. This would've made a whole lot of sense in the long run and story wise. I guess rockstar didn't treat Bully like the same as they do with GTA.

The quotes of people saying “new kid” is unused but there are different quotes of people calling you new kid for example pedro says im not scared of you new kid

the 2 missions were one mission also the bullies were not supposed to be a gang since they are not introduced at the cafe sequence

Nathan, I recreate / restore beta content. I was wondering if you have the model name for the early jeans? I restored both versions of the brown hoodie / jacket so I wanted to do the jeans as well.

I always wished there was 1 more chapter in bully. Lol and why did they delete the 2nd boys dorm floor, I mean there's like 50 boys and only like 10 girls in the game yet they get floors, that makes no sense lol.

Is there further depth into beta bully missions, deleted scenes, cut content, etc.

Also in the beta you get picked any class you want take what Miss Danvers said which would of be cool and better instead of the classes you have to do in order that they are in

Upon this research here, I find Bully looked like it needed an extended version or a special behind-the-scenes in-game content with audio commentaries from the developers. Never mind the enhancements for the latest ports though but give it the original PS2 looks to justify the developement for the original port before the Scholarship and Anniversary Edition release. There's too much to explain around this game.

It's kind of strange why did they cut the introduction to class with miss danver, i mean i know it would be boring but when i first play bully on ps2 i remember having difficulties navigating school and classes. A shame they cut it just because it take too long or something like that for the first mission.

Great video again as usual. I guess they cut majority of the stuff because as you said, it would be too long (maybe tedious for some players and would just want the game to hurry up). Still, I think majority of these unused things would've added more lore and explanation about the game.
