If your game is incredibly fast, change "FPSLimit=0" to FPSLimit=60" AND enable VSync before you load your game! UPDATE: OCTOBER 2019 Rockstar Games have recently opened up their own launcher, and Bully can be purchased there, however, for some reason, this fix WILL NOT work on the Social Club version (yet!). So, as of writing this edit, this video is only for the STEAM version.

if fps is uncapped it makes most minigames unbeatable and the cutscenes will always end early

Reducing fps limit doesn’t work, makes the game go faster than normal if it’s 0, makes the game move slower if it’s anything under 30

i can't save the file that has the fps cap, it says, you do not have permission to open this file. see the owner of the file or an administrator. no one has this problem??

After the patch, my game didn't crash for 6 hours. Then I quit and enter the game again later. It keeps crashing every 5 minutes like before...

ITs me again with another update the weed killer mission is bugged no I don't have any mods installed just the new patch and what happens is that when I exit the harrigton house it acts like I didn't even kill the plant and then I try going back in and it endlessly loads and I can't complete this mission please fix this thank you

Don't set the FPS limit to 0! Why? Everything in Bully depends upon the frames rather than being dependent upon the time delta just like all other old games. It was developed for 60 FPS. So, suppose if you are playing Bully at 120 FPS, your player and NPCs would walk/run 2 times (120/60 = 2) faster, would punch 2 times faster, the clock will run 2 times faster and so on. So, for the best experience, set the limit to 60 FPS.

Did not work for me, I did exactly as it says in the video... Every 15 - 30 minutes of gameplay my bully simply stops, I need to save all the time, it's annoying asf

I'm still experiencing game crashes and I have no mods installed and when I did a new game its been crashing constantly at the beginning can someone please fix this because I don't believe this is a fix what so ever and I don't know if it has to do with my gaming computer or recording software or not sure what to do now it feels like its worse

I don’t know why you would set FPS limit to 0. When i get extremely high fps the game starts speeding up and acting weird. The menus also are hard to navigate because its at 2000fps. Setting it to 60 is fine.

please help I tried this but it still didnt fix MY problem Whenever I try to switch the resolution from 800 x 640 (or whatever it is) to 1920 x 1080 my game crashes and the settings dont save. Maybe I can change the resolution somewhere in the game files? idk but please help

Set the fps limit to 60 FPS, anything below 30 will make the game glitch and go faster.

I can play the game now for hours but sometimes when i do errands or classes it will crash after a minute or two

if you still have crash issues set your game compatibility to XP Service Pack 3 and then run the compatability test in properties for bully,exe

"Failed to start process for Bully. The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect." This is the error I'm getting when trying to launch after installing the patch. Maybe it needs an updated guide? My bully folder looks nothing like in this video so idk if it's just me doing it wrong or this is outdated idk.

Silent Patch might just actually maybe be a better mod than Super Mod, because like it says, it makes you play the game properly.

Here's a fix that's worked for me. Go to the Bully game folder in Steam/steamapps/common/Bully Scholarship Edition. Find the Bully.exe then right click and click the compatibility tab. Check off the compatibility mode and set it so Windows XP Service Pack 3. Then, in the same tab, check the run as adminstrator option and save those settings. Have fun playing crash free!

It's the mission in this very video that I have to do over again, which is why I came here. I did this (Funhouse Fun), stopped to win some tickets, didn't make it to the save point before passing out in time, stopped to win some more tickets, went to class, did the stuff kids in the garbage can errand on the way to going to save, then ran out of students so I just trashed canned a prefect to finish the errand. but then I couldn't save because another prefect spawned and sent me to class when I would've saved on the way to class. Just as I entered New Coventry to take pictures of hobos the game crashed and now I have to do ALL THAT over again. Edit: Since applying the patch I have not had any more crashing issues.

I just wanted to further explain the memory thing at the end, pcs at the time had around 2gb of ram and windows 10 doesn’t manage the ram so to fix it you had to essentially allocate exactly 2gb of to Bully but this patch does it instantly

when i switch weapons while on bike i cant switch back to no weapon while on a bike so lets say im throwing eggs and i want to switch off the eggs or switch to fire crackers it doesn't let me it just goes back to eggs

Can they also try to fix the crash when you finish Chemistry 4 or 5, because always when you finish it, it crashes. I hope the ones who made the SilentPatch see this.

Thanks bruh! At first my map was glitchy and my game loading screen froze after the first mission. Then I downloaded a patch from a site (reply if you want the site) and my game was working, but then it was crashing randomly. I downloaded this and it stopped so thank you bruh. I thought i would never be able to play this game ever.
