I can see it in volume 10, where team J+RWBY reunite with team JNPR, Oscar, and Emerald: Juane: (Just finished telling them about the Ever After) While we were in the Ever After, you guys missed a few things… Oscar: Really? Nora: How much did we miss? (Sees Yang nearly trip, but Blake catches her, the two girls giggle, but Yang kisses Blake on the cheeks) Ren: (Amazed) Oh… Oscar: (surprised) That is new… Nora: (Shocked but slightly upset) WE MISSED A LOT!!!!!!
@@Caitlyn777-e1xYou may find this surprising, but some people actually like the shows they watch and dont bend over backwards making up reasons to dislike them.
@@Jockster109 the show yes! i am a one helluva fan of this show, to this day! but not from half of vol 6 to now. I hate what the writers did to this show and i will never forgive them for it, mostly the fans who are so desperate for something then the writers would just do it, dont care if it will ruin the writing/story, just wanna please the fans. so stupid
Took 9 seasons. I can't quite explain it, but I think there was something wholesome about how they were just casually oblivious to how each other felt. Seeing it without blatantly spelling it out.
What show have been you been watching? Volume 1-3 they were just friends, 4-5 weren’t even on the same continent, volume 5 on ward. It’s was blatantly obvious. During volume 6 it’s always those two in pair and attacking together. It’s always them together. Everybody else is barely interacts with them. If it wasn’t for volume seven team splitting up, you would forget they’re a part of a team.
@@TheKing-rp9byonde isso, no momento que as duas já se encaram já começa o flerte inclusive usou a Ruby para tentar se aproximar de Black, oque deu super certo
@@RandomvideosGameplays where it is, at the moment that the two have climbed up, they have started or flerte, they even used Ruby to try to get closer to Black, or that must be super certain Is that the translation?
13:41 Blake is like the one person Yang can feel vulnerable around Yang acts tough when she’s scared or sad but Blake is there to remind her “it’s ok to feel vulnerable it’s ok to let yourself feel this way you don’t have to carry the weight of this all on your own” their relationship is so beautiful I can’t wait to see it grow in Volume 10
13:39 the look Yang gives Blake (it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it thing) is SO DAMN VULNERABLE I can't believe I haven't seen redraws of that going around...
The funny part is that even though it was such a slow burn showing the development of their relationship, there will STILL be people that will say "But NOTHING showed that they had feelings for each other!!", "This came OUT OF NOWHERE!" or even "They turned two STRAIGHT CHARACTERS gay to appease the gay people!". Because fuck all they went through, all they grew up, all the moments they had together as strangers, then as friends then as "more than friends less than lovers" right?! Good thing that no matter how others try to complain about how this ship "was made to appease the fans", no one can say that their kiss was "just friends being friends".
Was this inbetween Volume 5 to Volume 9 you saw this- oh wait I forgot! People who watched this show has only seen up to this much and not the first to the fourth where is clearly shows them being friends and Blake clearly interested in Sun (But we forget about that right because our ships matter more just because) before the outta nowhere gay crushes started appearing and Sun isekaied outta the story at the beginning of the first episode of Volume 5
I don’t deny that the chemistry was there, my issue lies in Blake having 2 volumes worth of more obvious chemistry with Sun on Anima, only for it to get canceled out in favor of interactions that were legitimate, but still fewer in number and more ambiguously romantic.
@@grimmashley8422 That’s one of the many things that’s wrong with the ship, don’t get me wrong I don’t have any problem with girl on girl or boy on boy relationship, only when you have it like this out of nowhere is when I do have a problem as it’s just incredibly forced and just there for virtue signaling more than a genuine relationship.
Ive watched every volume and u can see that blake and yang always teased each other, it wasn't out of no where, even when they were separated a part of them missed each other
In the Blu Ray commentary they said the reason why Blake was the one who was confident and took charge in the confession scene is that she realised she was bisexual years ago. Meanwhile for Yang having romantic feelings for another woman is a new experience for her which understandably make her more nervous.
Wow man that's so cool so incredible and I love to see yang and blake together and also loving each other that's so cool man that's really cool indeed to me dude
@@camerong9147 Yeah, my issue isn't the ship and certainly not this scene, it's them building up Blake and Sun's chemistry for two seasons, then throwing it away and expecting us to act like this was inevitable
@@grimmashley8422 Maybe it is because I binged the serie recently (first and only time, I discovered RWBY recently and found it interesting so I watched it), but I never saw chemistry between them. I found their interactions more like 2 people with things in common that slowly become kind of best friends than 2 people falling in love, even after the dance part, which I guess should be the most "romantic" focused. Even after Sun went with her to visit her family and all, I just didn't see any chemistry (and I tried after discovering recently it was a debate in the fandom). I even recognised some details as hints leading to Bumbleby or at least how important they were to each other even during the time they were apart, while with Sun it was more like: I'm also a faunus and I got your back as a good friend and I'll be here for you if you need me. Then, they reunited the team, Sun went with his team and I started seeing Bumbleby signs all the time from that moment until the confession. Only the way they look at each other, even in the most normal situations at least once in every episode makes me think they got romantic chemistry at least since they started trusting each other again like before and gaining more confidence in their friendship and now romantic relationship. It's just my opinion. I can't speak about RWBY with anyone so maybe that's why I wrote more than I intended, sorry about that 😂,but I hope my point makes sense 😄
@@anabg_11 No, your point does make sense, but I fail to see how Yang and Blake had any more chemistry than Blake and Sun. I'm not an expert on lesbians, but if a lot of Sun and Blake's interactions can be chalked up to close friends, then I feel the same can be said for Blake and Yang.
The “bridge” situation is a kind of situation that can even make enemies become friends So they can surely make 2 friends become even closer, even lovers
I always felt like ugh these two will never be together but now after waiting for so long and Bumblebee finally being canon, I now realize the wait was perfect, I’m absolutely pumped to see how Blake and Yang’s teamwork makes them stronger affect the story
I dislike all the people arguing. Maybe Sun and Blake were meant to be something for a time, but who you like can change. And Blake and Yang have had a lot of character development to the point were this outcome feels more natural thank the first. Yang was the one who truly helped her with Adam from start to finish. And when they were reunited and had both worked through their issues they could finally grow with eachother. Thats why we dont see a lot of character development relationship wise after vol 3 until they reunite. They had to wait until they were ready to forgive themselves for what had happened.
I don't get the argument that because Blake and Sun might have had something Bumbleby was invalid. Like do all these people marry the first person they're interested in no matter what? I dont think there's any denying Blake and Sun had some level of attraction, but um, so what? Like maybe Sun continously not getting Blake in v4-5, despite them working together, made her realize she likes him but it wouldn't work in a relationship? I think you're correct btw, and that overall Bumbleby had a good progression from strangers to lovers
@MiriaJiyuu I know this was a few months ago haha but yes! That's what I was trying to say as well. I think some people think we are being force fed bumblebee because of the Fandom, but I just think it happened to be how the characters and story developed. It works, they're good for each other now that they had time away to mend some of their trauma, and the support each other in a good way.
1:03 Weiss: about time ✨ 9:56 Weiss: oh my goodness it’s happening! (Lets go lesbians! Let’s go lesbians!!) weiss ships them so hard and the ship has sailed ✨🥺🥹
I’m not one who favors same-sex relationships but I love how authentic their interaction was at 1:00. It shows their playful nature and their intimacy isn’t clichè
If you had told me Blake and yang would be each other’s other half, I would’ve said it was too late. Now it’s too late for sun. Sorry sun it’s Yang now
I don't think she was being mean to Blake intentionally. She was having a mental health crisis that nobody (unintentionally) was helping her with. Remember, even when things got bad, Ruby held onto faith to get through the tough times. They looked up to her because of that personality trait. They weren't focusing much on the fact that her mental health was spiraling and they were trying to be optimistic as she would have been in certain situations. The weight of all that was becoming too much for her and it caused her to snap. If that wasn't the case, I don't think she would have said what she said.
I think for the people who dont agree with this ship need to do it see what vol 10 brings. See if they make it overly gay. Which they wont and if you do believe this has come from no where the team have admitted it wqs planned since day 1. I know recent world events may make the rwby writers seem "woke" (threw up a little bit then) but its not. Theyd have pushed the gay theme much harder than just a bridge scene itd have been all over the place. This relationship came so naturally and took so long because blake was guarded but sun helped her threw that and then yang has abandonment issues and blamed blake for her arm but they got threw it together. Give vol 10 a chance if its totally over the top gay i will admit we have a little issue but i have faith they will write this ship correctly and it won't be forced on you. Love these girls the writer the show ❤ so happy its happening!
It's fine; we can just pretend volumes 4 and onwards never happened lmao. We can just rewrite the story... but in the way Monty Oum truly envisioned it.
@@0mn0m15 There's literally old footage of Monty essentially admitting he wanted queer characters in the story. Monty was not what you want him to be. Accept that and move on already.
Just like that rooster teeth got shut down for financial money not even giving bumblebee what they wanted saved them their dumb ship screwing up all the story
Personally, i feel the confession scene couldve been better. Dont get me wrong, it had me crying rhe first time watching it, but to be sat down by a magical fairy tale McGuffin plot device is so lazy and boring. And how is your relationship with another person, ever going to trump the survival of everyone's life. Its just sad to see the writers pull stuff out of there *ss the whole time in this show.
I think so too since he's supported Blake since the beginning but the fans wanted a lesbian romance so they got it 😂 On a serious note, I wish they kept team RWBY as a sisterhood like how it was originally intended
@Nessie Same, poor Son. I honestly thought and was hoping for Blake and Sun to get together after what happened in Volume 4 and 5. I do think they should have kept Team Rwby sisterhood like as u said. Either way I'm still looking forward to Volume 10
if black sun is possible then Sun should be the one to find Blake in volume 3 and he should be the one to understand that Blake wants to rest, not looking for white fang in volume 4. I find he understands that Blake needs a friend to help her through traumatized (Blake wasn't in the mood for love at the time anyway) I respect him , he is a good guy and a chad
For me, this is the season for them to stop and reflect on their feelings and self-development. Bumblebee just a subcomponent and the main development is Ruby . (although I have to admit that Ruby's development and maturation in this part has not been done very well)
@Kenken-of7by The ONLY way you can GENUINELY believe that to be true is if you didn’t watch the first five volumes😒 I understand that I don't know what goes on behind the scenes...but there's NO WAY IN HELL that their plan was to spend five volumes teasing BlackSun and IMMEDIATELY jump to Bumblebee in Volume 6. To me? It feels like they somehow think that the fans will be more "receptive" to Bumblebee if we buy that it was planned from the beginning, so they're just saying that because even THEY know that they fucked up😶
@@justincooper1342 i don’t get what’s so hard for people to understand .. when they first decided to write the show Blake and Yang were going to be a slow burn. Which means they take their time make mistakes and get into diff relationships before they realize they are inlove. Sun and Blake was a fine example for this. Blake thought she was inlove with sun but decided to be with Yang. She left Yang and betrayed her but Yang forgave her bc she loves her.. slow burns can be very confusing..
So tired of this stuff. John’s sister was married to a girl and nobody bats an eye. Why, because people have no issue with that kind of thing at all because people didn’t make it an issue with them and they did it right by doing so. The people making this an issue instead of just being happy for Blake and Yang are the ones that spread division and hatred toward one another. Instead they promote a relationship status over others and wonder why they are hated like complete dolts
