My channel is about full time RV Living in an older RV while keeping the wheels rolling on a budget. I do the repairs, updates and upgrades myself. I’ve become my own RV Mechanic/Medic! I seek boondocking opportunities every chance I can and power the RV with 500 watts of solar and approximately 500 amp hours of batteries. RV Resorts are just not our style!

Enjoyed the tour of Quartzsite. Thank you! The junkyard of RV's was amazing. As some have mentioned there is a boom of RV sells. With the "times" that we're in, buying one or a camper van and then purchasing a few acres of land to build upon; a cabin, plant a garden etc., is a wise move.

I think I saw Cousin Eddie waving at you through a window at that first lot. He must having been shopping for a newer RV and hinting at an invite for Christmas. lol! Just a red prickly pear cactus - Both the green and the red fruit makes awesome jelly. The cactus fruit, sometimes called a "Prickly Pears" are very sweet and can be eaten raw, right off of the plant. Depending on the level of ripeness, they can range from slightly sweet to syrupy sweet. --- cows love prickly pear cactus if you singe off the needles .. -- Operator Error!

When I come around old gas ⛽ I always look at the price per gallon on it, it helps date when that pump was last used! And funny to see .20 or .35 a gallon!

Dave that property were the RV lots are has been sold. It has been bought by pilot and it is going to be a full service truck stop with showers, store, restaurant, mechanics, fuel, and scales. They are also opening another small gas station on the other side of town.

A salesman for Camping World near me said that the Covid has stopped production of RVs and RV parts. He said they have 1200 vehicles waiting in service for parts to arrive. Some of his new Class C's have arrived with steel wheels because manufactures have a backlog of the Alcoa wheels waiting to be produced. He is buying up every good used RV with low miles that he can to keep their inventory up. Good video Dave. Love junkyards.

Even here in the Northeast the RV dealership lots are empty. People bought them because it is a great way to vacation with social distancing.

That one that Dave was looking at has to find a new location. The land owner sold the property to Pilot. It is going to be a full service truck stop. When they are done building it they are closing their other one in Quartzite. They also bough a small lot on the other side of town that is going to be a small gas station.

Hey Dave! I can certainly relate to the “missing files” from my GoPro 7 Black! I made a video not too long ago about visiting a botanical garden place close to my house...for ten years of passing this place back and forth, and, having never been in there I decided to change all that. Now keep in mind I’m 68 years old and definitely out of shape since I retired from trucking...for thirty minutes I’m walking around and what I ‘thought’ was recording...I happened to look down at the camera and YUP! no blinking recording light. You can imagine my mental anguish! So, I stopped and took a very much needed breather...well, actually the fifth one at that point...and started all over again! Grrrrrr! Needless to say it wasn’t as exciting the second time around as I’d already seen everything practically. So, NOW, I’m having to fake it like it never happened! Geez! Isn’t life fun! Lol! Hey Dave great to bum around with you. We seen lots of good stuff. One thing I did see was a so called friend not picking up your bike. We saw them fall, no ones fault and Scott picks up his bike and leaves yours. Dave do you think you would have just picked up yours? No. You would have picked up both, that’s what real friends do. RVs are flying off the shelf here in Jax. They get posted and marked as sold in less than an hour. It's been crazy! I found one in TX that I made an offer on. It's being inspected tomorrow so praying that comes back good.

My very first car was a 1961 2 door Corvair, medium blue. I complained about it filling up with smoke when I drove it and my daddy found a 1962 4 door that was light blue with a white top. I drove that car for several yrs until I could purchase my own. I look for them a lot now and you don't see that many out this way now. I hope that was an engine Randy could use. I feel so bad for him. I hope he gets his rig running soon. HUGS~Donna

LaMesa only brings units over for the season.... THEY ARE NOT OPEN YEAR ROUND. Soo Sad because the building on that lot used to be a great fun bar and huge restaurant. BTW you would have to be nuts to buy an RV in Q and later the dealers are long gone. I spent 10 years there full-timing for the whole winter season in the LTVA's.

Hey Dave!! Thanks for the stroll around Quartzsite with you and your friend Scotty. What a better way to kill time than by looking at “retired antique rv’s” that were something great at one time-had seen their better days. I really enjoyed seeing those antique cars which you don’t see everyday either ,you know? Glad yours and Scottys bikes survived that fall. Have you ever thought of investing in a pop up camper? I know they’re not as convenient as one like the Bounder,but very comfortable and I loved camping out in one . My friends parents had one and I camped out with her and her parents a lot. It was a coachmen I believe. Well, hope that new and exciting adventures await you on the road ahead Dave,Bounder,and the Bella -be safe!! I thoroughly enjoyed you two together on your bikes. Did you little boys take your baseball mitts and ball? Did any big boys try and knock you off your bike and take them from you? To boys just cruising all day , exploring. As long as you got home before dark, mom was ok with it. LOL I am sure some of those RV's were abandoned in the desert. Get place to get parts near where all the people break down and live in old travelers. Some of those could be fun for a project to fix up if you were hanging around in the area for awhile. It would be something to do during the winter if you had the gumption. Loved the funny old cars. Great little outings that didn't include gloppy food stop.

All the RV dealers in Q are seasonal except that one over by Loves. My guess is they don’t have enough inventory or they come in mid December for the Jan crowds.

Looked like a cool place to visit. I always liked going to junkyards. It was interesting to see some of the cars they would have. Sometimes you looked at shape of some and wish you could almost drive out and repair. Some you would look and knew how expensive they were new and now unfortunately are now parts for other cars. I going to move to Pahrump NV soon and saw online a video here on a big yard just outside of town. Looking forward to going out to it. It's called BROTHERS. but be advised if you visit drive a truck or one of your cars you do not mind driving on gravel road.

Looks like prefect weather. Some of those vans reminds me of cousin Eddies RV from national lampoon's Christmas vacation. I just put a down payment to build a caravan. Should be ready Feb, I'm going to travel around Australia during our winters. Looking forward to learning off your channel

The rv dealers here in NC had a record year in sales and with covid everything recreational from RVs to gun to bikes , boats etc is hard to come by they cant keep them stocked.

Distraction. It was Distraction that messed up. Distraction loves to get involved whenever fun is being had. Shiny Object, Distractions cousin, likes to only bother certain personality types lol.
