You have to start with damp (towel dry) hair and curl products if you really want this to work. Great inexpensive drugstore products that don’t weigh it down are both Garnier Fructis (can’t believe I didn’t like their products before, these are better than salon brands hands down) 🙌 The first is Wonder Waves 🌊 SOFT FULL, TOUCHABLE CURLS/WAVES OR Garnier Curl Shape DEFINED, STRONG HOLD - DO NOT BRUSH HAIR WITH THIS ONE, FINGERS ONLY (or your hair will frizz like crazy and the bond of curls will break) Run your fingers through while spraying generously into very damp hair, style for overnight curls. DAMP HAIR IS IMPORTANT SO THIS DISTRIBUTES EVENLY AND DRIES TO THE RIGHT CONSISTENCY (unless you’re going for that still wet scrunched look after it dries). Both are in green transparent bottles - both spray gel consistency but this is NOT your typical 90’s spray gel. The ingredients are completely different.
