Bundubeard's 'Drommedaris Mutton Tallow/Plant Oil Base Shave Soap 5.6 oz
Drommedaris has a spicy base but leans more towards the heavier, manly side of the spectrum with some added hints of leather, tobacco, and bergamot.

I had no idea that the tabs were a "lather extractor". I always figured that it was to keep the brush from sliding left or right and further into the bowl. That's awesome.

Absolutely what a great shave it was and that bowl is a lather machine. Already planning what my next Bundubeard soap and those Filoso blades are the real deal

Nice! Sounds like a great scent and you got a nice lather with that bowl. There's a dark gray/silvery soap that you probably have in the samples that is the super tallow base and it has a nice scent too, but not overly strong. You can pump a lot of water in that one and it's super slick. The blade is a maybe, but I don't switch up much. Wizamets, Polesilvers, Nacets, Perssona 74's and that's it for DEs. I like them sharp and smooth. This one sounds like a Feather and needs a couple shaves to get to the smooth zone-haha! Have a great weekend!

My foolproof bowl lathering recipe is 1/32 tsp of soap to 1/2 Tbsp of distilled water. Works great. Agitate vigorously for 75 seconds. I use so little soap it’s ridiculous and I still have lather left over after 3-passes.

Drommedaris the next soap in my rotation to use. I used Tamboti yesterday. Drommedaris is a really good soap with a great scent but scent is so subjective as I feel I like spicy passage and tamboti more than this one. But still a 5 star soap!

@@LongIslandShaving I used drommedaris today and it is a really good soap. Makes an older blade still feel fine for one or two more shaves. I checked out the sharpeshaver website and saw he has a few of the bundubeard products. His stuff is great. The wife loves his bundubabe aftershave products. Afternoon tea especially makes the whole house smell nice. I am glad bundubeard products are spreading over the world!

I’ve had three shaves with Drommedaris to date. Each one was amazingly smooth and slick! Lathers like a dream…just massive amounts fill my bowl. And that scent, WOW. The balm is a BOMB to boot. You mentioned your top three razors. What are they? Thanks.
