Bungie just Completely Ruined Hand Cannons.. (Can't even 3 Tap anymore 😭) 

I don't think you watched the video. Handcannons are still as strong as they have been if you hit headshots, which I assume you have as the game gives you them for free. The problem is explosive payload and sunshot (maybe timed payload too) are not able to three tap because the "payload" causes a headshot to deal less damage after the health increase because they were not factered into the new damage scaling.

Its a bug with payload. Not a TTK change. And it's not a TTK change to 120s either. You just gotta land all crits. Which WAS the point of the patch. Land more crits to get the TTK.

@@arjunbaweja7755 no, they shouldn't. Range is almost entirely dependent on barrel length. Longer barrel, longer range. Hand cannons are large caliber sidearms, they should NOT have that level of range. SMG's, auto's, snipers, and pulses should all easily outrange them. They have MUCH longer barrels. Hand cannons have been absurd since day one. It's fine if they hit super hard. I'd even be okay if they hit almost as hard as snipers, but their range needs to be severely nerfed, and all other rifle-type weapons need massive range increases.

Camping was a thing shotgun and special ammo apes used, and unfortunately most of those guys used a hand cannon with their special weapon. The players that this benefits are those that can handle primary gunfights, manage cover and engage over longer durations, players that don't crumble when they can't just rush in and one shot someone and players that can stay on target for longer than 3 shots

That’s the bitter reality. If you want to snipe, you have to play for some minutes with a primary, just to get 2 shots. Maybe get 6 shots the whole game and make 3 kills with it. I am not the best sniper unfortunately. But I can’t really practice, because checkmate.

@@malice4mercy904Doesn't matter, they're way less forgiving and the falloff changes wrecked lower range stat 140s. In an environment where they deal less flinch, pulses demolish them (and any weapon with slice, overshields, or healing turns them into a 4-tap anyway).

Currently there is a bug going on with explosive payload, a perk, which is causing this issue but this isn’t gonna be set. From experience the update is lovely. Go back to try it and form your OWN opinion. Don’t just take mine or anyone else.

Bows per a shot deal about 15K while hc's deal about 8K on average not including any buff/debuff's looking at 140 hc. Generally for pve the tier list is: Smg, burst hc, precision bow, 720 auto, 120 hc, the remaining auto frames, most sidearm frames except I believe 3 burst, 180 hc, lightweight bow, 140 hc, pulse rifles, scout rifles I didn't mention scout or pulse frames since neither really do well when it comes to legendary weapons. Obviously weapons move around based on their perks like fatebringer is a 140 yet it's pretty top tier in pve but this is for general purpose without including any perks.

Their 2 crit 1 body forgiveness is now gone.120s big rip.140s really had no forgiveness at all.140s only redeemable value really was in EP,flinch and peak shooting.140 effective ttk range was entirely gutted while pulse/auto effective range generally remained the same(but rip to 720's).They're called hand CANNONS, not hand peashooters.You cannot tell me bungie isn't biased toward hand cannons,when after they basicly were gutted,we got the Adjucator, and before we got Unending tempest, and before we got the Imortal.All bungie is doing is making the crucible easy mode spam so scrubs with no thumbs and trash game sense/positioning can compete because they cry so damn much."Handcannons peak shoot my Tempest crutch and I die wahwah bungo nerf hcs so I don't die wahwah." Scrub newlight pvp players who have less than 500hrs in it have ruined what little competitive sense the game had.

you've been allowed/able to use autos since forever. You just choose not to. Autos have been good for a VERY long time but no one cares until enough of their peers do it.

@Julian-rt9qs A lot, and I mean a LOT of assault rifles get out ttk'd by hc's. You can use ars ofc, but it was difficult when so many stompe hunters and shotgun titans are running around
