Saber, Gladius and Katana were fifteen out of the 300 Spartan IIIs of Gamma Company. That makes 285 Spartan IIIs unaccounted for. In the Halo: Reach teaser, we hear Spartans talking over the radio. One says "This is Sierra 259." The active duty Spartan IIs number designations did not go that high. The only question left is, do the timeliness mach?
I 100% agree with you. That Connor kid is a little shit. And I think that Joseph Staten and Marty O' Donnell together are just comedy gold- I can honestly say that they are one of the most hilarious, and fun duos I have ever seen! And also I would like to add that Brian Jarrard is f**king amazing at answering questions, or clearing things up. Those are some gifted media skills. I just really want to say that ODST is looking purely amazing in every aspect, and I cannot thank Bungie enough!
@MurdocB7 well yes i agree in a sense, but you must realize that in regular Slayer its more a test of who has the most powerful weapon. If you have a rocket launcher versus a plasma pistol i think it's pretty obvious which one would win, regardless of who's carrying it. On the other hand, SWAT gives everyone equally powered weapons and whoever is the fastest and most skilled usually tops the score (dont get me wrong, I play Slayer as much as i play SWAT, I'm just sayin that SWAT requires skill).
nope, Spartan III's went on suicide missions. There are only 3 Spartan III groups. Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. Alpha was massacred in 2537. Beta company was wiped out (excluding Tom and Lucy) in 2545. Gamma left Onyx excluding Team Saber, Gladius, and Katana. Gladius was killed by Sentinels and Katana and Saber are in Onyx. The other 315 S-III's fates are unknown. However, it is impossible for the survivng S-III's to have been on Reach because Kelly, Fred, and other S-II's were on Onyx after Reach.

dude its a full game it was first concepted as a expansion but has grown to a full game so no its not a expansion its a full new game thats a side story to the three halos we know and love
Ya know if they never changed the pistol in the first place we wouldn't even be having this conversation. Hmm funny how decisions like adding a weapon, like the battle rifle, come back to bite you in the ass later. Halo CE still stands as the most competitive FPS multiplayer experience ever created.
Why would they have to tell us to get us to buy it, odst is a full game it would not have firefight or even be as long as it is now if it was a expansion, and halo 3 is a full game and odst is said to be longer than halo 3 so i doubt thats what u consider a expansion
@Foxtrot323 Ok swat dose need skill. But for your own skill: would you rather be skilled pretty good in a range of weapons? or be mega skilled in a weapon that is crap at close range? I think both slayer are swat need skills but swat is more refined / or / confined to one weapon. Slayer has just about every element in halo combat

@xAfterDawnx wow bro calm down Halo Reach was awesome and did what it set out to do. And no, sir, we dont miss the BR. ODST replaced the BR with an awesome magnum, and Reach replaced the BR with a much more powerful DMR. If you've got some issue with the way Halo is made why the fuck don't you try making games and see if you can even do HALF as good as Bungie (which is highly unlikely). dont come on here and trash Bungie because they are what makes the FPS genre sit up and take notice.
Umm. now that we are fighting about BR I just got to say: Would it be awesome if we could all be odsts and "enjoy" BRing every brute without getting shot? Well it would not be awesome. Being odst is awesome and using "crappier" weapons to make throught the campaing feels just better than using overpowered BR. Using BR against players is skill. Using lets say.. AR against players and then melee.. well I can't say its skill. Against Brutes that beat the crap out of you if you try to melee? Skill.
Na, I couldn't give flying fuck. The fact that Halo 3 could have been an amazing game and it isn't, is the thing that annoys me more than anything. If certain things were fixed, then it would be brilliant game. I don't mind that it's not in ODST though, as I don't think it would suit the way the game is supposed to be played or the feel of the game. At the end of the day, it's a video game :).
Most annoying? Probably because your a noob that doesn't know how to use it. Its the best regular weapon on the game. 4 shots to the head and you have a kill if your halfway decent. My guess says then, that either you use a gay assault rifle all the time which has noob written all over it, or you smg or dual smgs, even making it worse. And ask any pro if they will be mad about taking out the BR. I GUARANTEE all of them would say that they would be mad. And your calling me the idiot.
They love their community so they fuck up the BR which is the starting weapon for their biggest selling point? Their biggest selling point being the competitive aspect of the game (MLG).
