i like the fact that his comic relief doesn't just come from stupidity, but more from how he interacts with the people around him, and how, even tho he is the comic relief character, he is still highly important to the plot, has many layers, and a past that makes his behaviours make more sense. plus i am pretty certain that at this point, a large majority of his trolling is part of an elaborate plot that he set up and is yet to reveal...

The little thing i like about BSD is when the ED is start playing at the ending scene of the episode like hxh did, it gave you hype for the next episode.

i think the OPs focus on coolness and action while the EDs focus on character backstories (esp ED1-2, there's a lot of symbolism going on about Dazai (bandage guy), Atsushi(tiger guy), and Akutagawa(black cloak guy))

It makes me beyond happy whenever I see someone get into this series. It's got a nice balance of seriousness and comedy, mystery, action, mafia/gang stuff, many likeable and interesting characters, and smooth animation. It's truly a masterpiece, and gets addictive by the time you reach the second season. I recommend giving it a watch, even if it's in your own time. The first episode got me hooked right away.

Fun fact, and I don't think this is a spoiler, each character in this anime has the name of a famous writer like Osamu Dazai, Scott Fitzgerald, Dostoievsky Lovecraft, Allan Poe, Mary Shelley, etc. and each of his abilities is related to one of his works, the Fitzgerald's called 'The Great Gatsby' xD , sounds crazy but it's sooo good, you should give a try!

One thing intresting about the ops is that they're all sang by people who voice characters in the show. The first and third are done by the same va for jean in AOT (chuuya in BSD), and the 2nd is sang by the guy who voices tanaka in haikyuu (tachihara in BSD )

Definitely watch this show you wont be disappointed. I think the first ED is my favorite especially now with the spinoff series Bungou Stray Dogs WAN having the same ED but sung by the main character it's just great to hear it again every week

it hurts how many people never gave it a chance and it was swept under a rug BUT 3 seasons and even a spinoff series tells me that it's not underrated in Japan, just in the west edit: along with the dead apple movie and gacha game

Pleaseeeee you must watch the show it's soooooo underrated....the op or ed doesn't matter, the show is gold, all the characters and their power represent literary works or persons(ex: Dazai Osamu, Adger Alan Poe)...it's just amazing I can talk for a months constantly about it's facts and explanations and plots.....please you must watch, you won't regret...ever!

There's a four episode arc at the begging of season two that has it's on op. It uses the same song, but it's visually stunning . It's the best op in the series.

This anime is really good and so underrated! The main guys (white haired boy and bandage guy) are from a detective agency but there's this other organization (where the guy dressed in black is from), and yeah they're kind of like a gang lol. I think all are pretty solid but visually the 3rd op and ed are waaaaay better, however the song from the first ed i believe is a fan favorite. Not many people react to this anime so I hope you guys can react to it in the future!

ED2 always felt like an OP to me for some reason. OP1 is probably my favorite. Probably cause I really like the song used, even though the visuals aren't as good as OP3, but not by much. But ED2 is a close 2nd for me

@@bzzztbzzzt2428 yes most definitely. Bones is very invested in this anime. We got wan (chibi anime) this jan so they're definitely not done. Its just that the arc isn't complete in the manga rn so we can't really determine when we'll get it.

The Promised Neverland reactions of yours for me became the first reaction videos. BSD Ending 2 is top tier for me. It absolutely fits the anime, the music itself is incredible quality, and the ending segments of each episode are almost built perfectly around fitting to this kind of sound....
