When I did my bunker research I just ran Cayo Perico a few times (this was before the cooldown existed but you can still do it over a few days) and then just sat at my bunker dumping money to fast track my research. It was very painful to do as well as see that money drain.
People are saying it’s a 48 minute cooldown but I get the call for hard mode in about 25 minutes. Sad they even added a cooldown or nerfed the heist as much as they did tho. They don’t bother to fix the thousands of issues but they’ll stop us from risking shark card sales 🤦🏼♂️ they should’ve just stuck with gta 4 and gave us more niko, maybe another character or two and actual gta, rather then this bugged, unfinished and messy garbage with no story and horrible mechanics.
Tip: After you buy research, check to see what the next item is and close you app immediately if its not what you want. When you load back in you will have to re-buy research and you will get another randomly selected item but you wont be charged twice. Essentially you are closing your app before the game saves. Works the same with the casino wheel. Alternative is paying around $11.5M
When you were talking about the request research option that I didn't knew about, I got a bit surprised, and scared that I blew more money into it than I should have, but seeing the amount those missions give, I guess just buying them really was the best idea. Now if only we could CHOOSE what research to get next, rather than having to rely on RNG...
For the record you do not need to research OPMK2 Missiles, they don't require research at all to unlock. To get OPMK2 missiles you need the Terabyte, to get the TB you need a Nightclub.
Actually, took me over a month or two by just buying supplies for research exclusively so I can have them ready. I didn't make any money by that time by selling guns but only with the Ammunation surplus. But once I've got them all completed, it was Fun Gun Sell City. What I think it makes the research bit annoying is the fact you CANNOT choose what to research, and that lots of the stuff in the list are very useless or uncool and expensive crap you don't want (like ugly liveries in guns and cars). The only ones that truly matter are the MK2 ammo types, especially the explosive shells for shotguns and sniper rifle... that's extra boom factor if you're running low on rockets or rail gun ammo.
I've had my bunker dedicated to grinding out research passively for the past month and it's almost finished. I had no idea you could even request research missions from Agent 14, and now that I've seen how crappy the rewards are, I'm glad I never did them. The fact that several of the unlocks are just trashy weapon liverys is super annoying. Those should be bonus rewards, not something your technicians are wasting precious time and supplies on.
I know bro I was tryna get Oppressor Mk1 missles cuz I wanted a fun counter to MKII’s but it took me literally 1 month of speeding research to do it, cost me like 9 mill for the MK1 missles
No matter how many nice places my character has to live, the fact that the bunker has those excess parts deliveries, means by default the bunker is the most sensible spawn point. Log in, make 50k. I really really hate the weapons deliveries, so back when I was still doing research, I put 100% of my resources over to research just because I didn't want any actual product being made. Never touched fastrack, I just made sure to buy resources all the time. Spawning there made it easy to remember. Note, hate the actual weapon business. Agent 14 is the worst delivery planner. Now that all research is done, I never refill resources intentionally. Agent 14 is a man with nothing to do. Tony > LJT > Agent14
I'd argue for the Agency on the same basis: log in anywhere, do a payphone hit, make 85K It respawns quicker than the bunker: 20 minute cooldown instead of 48, but while the bunker can be cheaper at 1.165M instead of 2M to get anywhere actually useful (Chumash or Route 68) you are looking at 1.65M or 1.95M - and you'll make up that difference very quickly. And ... 20K every "day", Security Missions, and the Dre Contract - it's a no brainer! The bunker is useful for research, but as Poob says, that sucks ass in practice.
The casino penthouse is the best, since that's where the wheel of fortune is, and you can request limo rides to all sorts of different places on the map. I request a limo ride to chumash which is where my bunker is, and I'm riding down the street in that POS in less than a minute from requesting the limo.
To make the gun sell missions fun for single player and with a nice margin of profit (210k > 75k), just resupply once and after it fills (usually 1/5 of the full bar), sell immediately. You're only getting one car of whatever sell mission you get (one Insurgent, one Marshall, etc.) and the income it's pretty solid compared with the time invested (I can't stand doing multiple cars solo). Try it and you'll see how easy and profitable it can be (and yes, the weapon sell missions are A LOT more fun than the MC business ones).☝️
@@DonVecta Even better, do a stash house raid and you can get it resupplied for free. I ignore my MC businesses, so only my Bunker and Acid Lab ever need supplies - so the stash house saves me either 75K or 60K once a day for 3 minutes work.
Bunker used to be my money making machine. But over time I got a Night Club, and later Arcade and Agency. So I didn't really need the Bunker for making money, in fact I hated it because I HATE the sell missions for it, even if you do 210k sell missions for a single vehicle they still suck doing. So I stopped using the Bunker for making money for a long while. So I did half/half for a while. Then when they updated the bunker added the 50k truck every in game day, I switched to 100% research and then used the 50k sell mission to off set the 75K supply cost until I ran out of research, it was actually very fast after that. Even then I still barely ever touch the bunker. Similar to MC Business I barely touch them as well. They're not fun at all. Basically I grew loving it at first only to absolutely hate the bunker later. I'd even argue to suggest people NOT buying a bunker for anything BUT being there to help the Nightclub, and doing research. There are so many superior business anymore and I think it's kind of obsolete. Similar to CEO Warehouses, Vehicle Warehouse, and Hanger Crate sourcing. Along with the MC Business none are really worth our time in my opinion. Basically when they buffed these business they didn't' buff them in the right ways. CEO Warehouses for example the NPC to source crates for you is fine, but honestly should be done through phone call or Office Laptop, not visiting warehouses directly. Bunker and MC Business need their "TRASH" sell missions removed, and rebalancing of stock vs supply.
My bunker is still bugged. Been bugged since 2022. I've had a full bar of supplies since I traded in my bunker and started the business in my new location. The supplies has not went down AT ALL and my research is still at 0%. It isn't letting me request research jobs from Agent 14. It isn't letting me pay to fast track research. Then to top it all off I'm also unable to assign my nightclub technician to sporting goods. Rockstar needs to fix the many bugs in their games instead of only focusing on money glitches. The whole reason people do money glitches is because most grinding is broken, or there's a weekly limit, or the old methods have been nerfed. I feel like they're trying to get a few more shark card sales before GTA 6 lainches.
Took me forever. I use 4 characters. So, I had to unlock 208 research in total. I had most of them done before the ability to call Agent 14 to do the research missions. But I didn't fast track the research, I just let the bunkers sit on the side til recently started doing bunker sell missions and excess ammo missions.
I did my bunker research like this buy upgrades it's a must then full on research buy supplies for 75k go do missions and play the game come back into your bunker checking up on it and always buy more supplies keep that bar full it's takes awhile but better then 220 k a research but instead your getting it slowly at 70 k a research you can also run the truck for 50 k quick that's helps out
I set mine to manufacture only at first while I worked earning for the two efficiency upgrades. Every time I ran a second load to ammunation, I bought supplies while keeping 25k in my pocket. Most guides I saw completely ignored this 50k run which takes sub 5 min most of the time which is pretty good starting out. Add to that, on manufacture only, it refills every 48 minutes. Once I got the upgrades, I changed to "Both" which also changes ammunation delivery to every 96 minutes. 24 hrs in game is $1.5 mil on manufacture only and half that for "both" if you could time it perfectly which isn't realistic but definitely worth it imo.
Definitely love the video but if anyone is watching as of rn (April 4th- 11th 2024) the bunker research mission are triple rp, money, and research. On average you get 16.6% of research so with it being triple you’ll get upwards of 40% of research from one mission (49.8 to be exact) so doing a mission while letting it build up while playing will save u a ton this week 👍🏾
also raid stash houses. i don’t sell cargo for any of my MC business so they stay maxed out, and the supplies i get from stash houses go straight to me bunker. once the supplies run out it’s around 50k to fast track. it’s not the fastest way but it saves money lol. it’s better than buying supplies or fast tracking for 200k
I wouldn't have Minded the Research if The Game didn't Pick the Research for You. I was interested mostly in the MK 2 bullets and it took me a while to get them all.
I gave up trying to complete bunker research, mostly because you can't choose the weapon or vehicle you want to upgrade, it's random (it was random when I last tried anyway). I tried that way a few times and still didn't get anything I wanted. You can upgrade some of your weapons to the mk II variants in the Freakshop, I did that and just kept my bunker making stock to sell.
I'm just switching to research and manufacturing and as soon as I get the smallest bit of research i just fast track it switch back or just do a research mission and then fast track....would be nice if you could choose , you'll spend millions fast tracking camo skins alone lol
i play this game with my mother and sometimes my sister because they like the do what you want aspect of the game, they just need me to carry them because i been playing gta since i was 8 years old so i know the game as well as vadam M. one thing i did for my mother to make fast track quicker because she wanted the skins for the MK2w weapons and expended barrel was just fast track all of it with the money she saved. she dont like cars and she only uses the carbine rifle MK2 and combat MG MK2 so basically fast tracking everything was the quickest way since we usually have 10 to 12 million in the bank anyways without trying. i will admit the agency and night club safe help making money and probably would help if your a player who just starts the bunker to get the MK2 weapons. i feel like the game should have had tiles like vehicle websites do but it list the part or weapon upgrade you want to unlock and you should have been able to select 3 to research or just 1 to research but it goes faster or just fast track it for 120,000. seems like it would be a more fair less annoying option then just a randomly selected part to research that you most likely wont use.
2:14 can I mention that the mk2 doesn't have a research? Only the original Oppressor mk1 has it. Anyway, the missiles for the Oppressor were my first research so I gotten the bike sooner than later. Bike amazing for money making since I live in a inv.

I have all MC bussiness full stock and supplys...so i only resuply ACID LAB ( those selling missions are so easy ) and when ACID LAB is full, i go to Gs Stash house...and raid it, that gives me a full bar for BUNKER ( because all MC bussines are full )...its a long boring waiting method, but I rather pay Mutt 60k for acid. I bought GTA for PC back in 2020 and criminal enterprise pack was just optional then. I chose not to buy because i wanted to start from zero I used to play GTA 5 on PS3 in the early days btw

For the love of god please stop telling people the bunker never gets raided. This is a complete lie. I have everything fully upgraded all research done and i dont have enough fingers and toes to count the raids. Yes yes yes i repeat YES it does get raided.
