I sometimes get that way when I'm depressed. "Here looks like a good place to fall over and do nothing for a while..."

Mine does this suddenly while washing his face, then goes to sleep. Freaks me out every time.

I'm glad to hear that flopping is a good thing. My bunny did that all the time and I was scared that she was hurt.

This is so cute and pure, especially considering that bunnies are prey animals, so they're really comfortable and happy where they live if they feel they can do that. Kinda like how if a cat trusts you, it will expose its belly. 😊

my bunny always did that right between my feet. so i had no choice but to stand still untill he woke up. hahahah

when my bunny flopped and didn't move for a bit my niece screamed "HE DIED!" xD

I love how with rabbits their flops are more like flips. My cats tuck their heads and roll over, but Bella (my bun) just suddenly goes WHOOP and she's on her side X3

Found this out the hard way...ran through 6 red lights in a rush to get my baby to the vet, even ignored the cops....the were cool about it in the end.

My bunny passed away a few months ago, miss him and his flops so much. Not to mention his little squeaky snores when he inevitably fell asleep afterwards

If a bunny can be comfortable enough to expose their belly or back to you, then that's how you know they are happy and content

I'm currently minding a rabbit at my house for a friend who's on holiday. The little guy did this yesterday a few times and I freaked out. I thought he was dead! Then when I saw him do it again a few times I wondered if it was some sort of heat stroke or something like that. I'm so relieved that I googled it. He's also running incredibly fast between my kitchen and living room while jumping and sort of twisting and contorting his body. What does that mean? I believe he's a 'black lion head'. Black all over except for long silvery grey hair all around his head that hangs down in front of his eyes. He's like a wee hippy rabbit!

I remember one time, my rabbit had flopped and when he is in deep sleep, he has his eyes closed and breathes soft. I went to check on him and I thought he has dead so I shook him and woke him up in the process 😂

Ahh I rember the first time seeing Ester flopped kind of freaked me out at first. Snowflake looks just like my Ester. As I am writing this Ester is enjoying a feast of timothy hay,lettace and grain.

my bunny has been doing this for the last two months and I had no idea it was because she was happy and felt safe 😭 my heart is so full of love for her

I have a rescued rabbit and she used was treated badly and released into the wild very young and was found by a farmer being chased by wild rabbits from trying to get into there warren and she was taken to a shelter and that's where I got her as I wanted a friend for my male she was labeled everyone was scared of her she used to bite and attack all the time and had killed a rabbit previously to me rescuing her as soon as I got her and released her into my big garden and her two houses she has never bitten anyone and I picked her up everyday she loves cuddles and 2 weeks after getting her she started doing this I never knew what it was for but it great to know now that she is happy and so is my male rabbit as she also does it too .

Absolutely gorgeous!

First time we saw our bun do this it made us happy. She will occasionally do it on the floor heater vent and sleep. I love how they can be laying for over an hour and suddenly jump up and binky. My wife usually gets up before me and lets her out of her pen, lately after she lets her out she has been immediately running down the hall and scratching on the door so i will get up. Rabbits have one of the best personalities, better than most humans.

When my bunny did this the first time (after she got lots and lots of treats) my mom grabbed my arm and said "She's Dead! We killed her!" All it took was a shake of the pellet box to bring her around. ;)

my male white blue eyed dwarf rabbit was doing this xD made me worried :'( made me think he was having a heart attack or something. sadly my female white red eyed dwarf rabbit passed last week. well fed and well watered. she just all the sudden had a heart attack. any clue why she did? I have a big dressor for my male and a small cage ontop of it with the doors opened so he can come out and look for attention or explore. but he has been showing lonelyness after red died. named the male blue. their diet is just hay and pellets. I clean their cages every day with a small towel for the bottoms so I can just pick it up and dump the stool and clean the rag. quick and easy. any ideas on a healthy food mix with hay and pellets? I heard that carrots are extremely unhealthy and are too high on sugar for rabbits? only meant for treats?
