Saw him live on his first American tour at Radio City Music Hall here in NYC. Supporting acts The Heptones and Black Uhuru. Cool lineup, eh? Went to the box office first day and got 4th row center seats. My gf and I were in heaven when he opened with The Old Dragon. Man, I will never forget that night.
Heptones was at MSG in 1986. Skatalites was at Radio City Music Hall 1989. Bunny Wailer is the reason I visited those venues. I was not aware a concert was a party. People were sharing burnt offerings, I loved when he got into Dreamland, Love Fire and the Rock and Groove segment. I regret Peter Tosh did not appear. Junior Brathwaite and Dream Walker were ok.
Reggae music was reggae music back in MD's I grew up listen to the music Bob Marley he's a touch body with us from Wendy was together and when they separate on each individually was still the best reggae music in the world All of them to me was very great

He has a very small percentage of his music on streaming platforms. So disappointing that a successful artist like Bunny has put his philosophical beliefs before his fan base, meaning that no one can fully appreciate the scope of his work- just a couple of albums that don’t reflect the full body of his musical career.
