I think a song that's criminally lacking covers on RU-vid would be phase 2 from Bowser's battle in NSMB Wii (the giant chase segment), and I think it would sound awesome rearranged by you!

Battle for the Grand Star (Final Bowser) from Galaxy 1 or Fated Final Battle from Galaxy 2 would be pretty cool. In The Final/The Grand Finale from Bowser's Inside Story would be a good one to consider as well.

Having never liked Gusty Garden's theme that much, I was always really saddened by the knowledge that it's the most popular in the soundtrack. Buoy Base, although nearly as popular, is just... so much better. I understand the appeal of both, but Buoy Base blows most of the other songs... out of the water, ironically enough. AND YET YOU STILL OUTDO IT WHAT HOW I -wish- I was as good at this as you are! I figured I'd just list ideas from Galaxy I here in case you feel like taking remixes from your most annoying commenter. No pressure as always to remix/remaster any of these, but maybe I'll be helpful someday. Battlerock Galaxy (highly popular like Buoy Base and Gusty Garden) Honeyhive Galaxy (Galaxy I, though they remixed it in Galaxy II and you could probably hybridize the two if you wanted) Megaleg (why did they give literally the first boss this theme) Space Junk Galaxy (not my personal favorite, but I know a lot of people love this song more than any other :)) Speedy Comet (yes) Bouldergeist (best boss :)) Drip Drop Galaxy (somber and rather tense) Either Bowser theme from this game (since both are amazing) Toy Time Galaxy (Just the Mario theme, but pretty neat regardless) Shadow Comet (yes.) Could you try your hand at arranging a Galaxy two song? Any of them, will work. I find that Galaxy ones music can be depressing... Which makes sense for the space vibe. But it makes me feel sad :(
